Zer Cafe — Restaurant in Doncaster

Really disgusted and appalled by the customer service we received today. I specified before all the food came out that we don't want any meat in the dishes. He said to me it's ok it's halal and then I repeated myself and said No, I don't want any meat we don't eat meat and he said ok that's fine. After everything had been sent out they send some pastries at the end and without realising it's meat we start eating it to realise there's beef in it. I call him over and ask him why he sent us a dish with meat in it and he just straight up lied and said we didn't tell him till after the dishes were sent out and then when I said check the cameras he just goes... What do you want me to do about it? No apologies no nothing, just a what do you want me to do about it? And then when the lady at the back said it was her fault he still insisted it was our fault and didn't get any proper apology. Maybe he some training in customer service and better yet, learn to understand what the customer tells you about what they want in their food. Imagine someone being allergic to something and saying they can't have this and being given it anyway. Should not be running a food business if you cannot understand basic stuff. Very dangerous. Came to this restaurant this afternoon for a Turkish breakfast for four. Specified before all the food had arrived that we are vegetarian and don't eat beef. The server gave us some pastries that we all ate but realised that there was meat in there. He had given us beef. When asked the man at the front said there is beef in the pastry and began arguing with us. We reiterated that we had said vegetarian but he began escalating the situation by talking louder and telling us we were wrong instead of apologising. Lied that all the food had been sent out before we told him. No apology was uttered from his mouth he just threw his hands up and said what do you want me to do - maybe apologise?? Poor customer service. Not the best Turkish breakfast. Left a sour taste...

We went for breakfast for the first time and it was so delicious we sat outside in sunshine it was gorgeous,the cafe is sooo clean the service with great.

We ordered 2 breakfast and was enough for us 2 adults and 2 kids will be coming back. definitely...
