Honestly how all of these people are raving about this kebab place and hearing so much I can't see why.... Prices for the large mix grill at £22.5 is a total RIP as rita ora would say. Much better vaule kebabs from else where for this price. Horrible cold stale kebab meat (donner) others was warm ish and only drove 8 mintues home. The lamb was gritting, the burger even kid turned his nose up after eating half of it. And then to have all of the meat dumped onto the chips making it soggy chips soaking up all of the fat. Orderd chips with the buger asked for no chip spice and what did we get chips spice. Might as always ask for the oppsite and you will get the right order. Don't get a pitta bread with the kebabs who ever made this descions within the company needs to change this. Orderd a wrap with the mix grill but it was folded into a trinagle and when opening it it all ripped and could not use a wrap. The chicken kebab with a few chips and very little salad but trying to dump into a large metal tin foil tray may work for some people but not me. Trying to trick people into thinking they are getting a lot. Got the peri peri wings as a little treat they was cold and the sauce had clumped together at the bottom. Honestly will be staying clear for as long as I...
Read moreI recently ordered a mixed grill kebab and a 12-inch pepperoni pizza, and both were delicious.
The mixed grill kebab had a good variety of meats, including chicken, lamb, and beef. The meats were all cooked perfectly and were very flavorful. The kebab also came with a generous portion of rice and salad.
The pepperoni pizza was also very good. The pizza base was thick enough to offer value and crispy, and the toppings were generous. The pepperoni was fresh and flavorful, and the cheese was melted perfectly.
Overall, I was very impressed with the food. It was delicious, the prices were reasonable, and the service was friendly. I would recommend .
However, I did have one small issue with my order. The rice that came with the mixed grill kebab was different than the rice I have had from Smokey's Grill in the past. I think they may have changed the recipe, as it now tastes like ambrosia creamy rice pudding. I would prefer the previous recipe, as it was more flavorful and complemented the kebab better.
Other than that, I had a great experience at Smokey's Grill. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious and affordable kebab or pizza, amongst...
Read moreLet me paint you a picture: I was hungry. Not regular hungry — I’m talking “willing to eat a scabby horse” hungry. So I took myself to Smokey’s First, the chicken. Tender, juicy, and seasoned. Grilled to perfection with those sexy little char lines that say, “Yeah, I’ve seen fire… and I liked it.” Then came the rice — OMG, the rice! Fluffy like it sleeps on a cloud, yet just sticky enough to know it’s ride-or-die for every bite of chicken. The rice was so comforting, I nearly proposed. The salad was fresh enough to slap you awake. And now... the garlic sauce. I don’t know what kind of sorcery Smokey’s is working with, but that stuff could resurrect ancient civilizations. Creamy, tangy, and so garlicky that I’m 93% sure I’m now legally banned from dating vampires. I’d bathe in it if it were socially acceptable 😂🤣 Bottom line: Their food is a flavor rollercoaster that leaves your taste buds screaming “AGAIN! AGAIN!” Go eat it. Thank me later (preferably with more...
