I feel it is unfair to give this place less than 3 stars as i have no real experience here. On my first day of working in Doncaster for a week I came here for lunch at 12.45 only to be told there was a 45 minute wait for food. I counted 12 people in the bar who were not eating so it's possible they could have all ordered food hence the wait. Unfortunately it was too long a wait before going back to work. I returned a few days later to eat after work. I arrived at 21.00 but was told the kitchen had just closed. Disappointed again I did not return. The place looks lovely & the menu looks reasonably priced but unfortunately I never had the chance to try. Shame the kitchen closes so early.

I came here with my brother for breakfast. A traditional breakfast was 2.79 a person and includes a free drink. We went for orange juice. There was a generous serving of orange juice. The breakfast was decent and filling. There was too much black pepper on the mushrooms and tomato IMO. There's pepper on the table so why not let customers add pepper if they want to? There';s free wifi. All in all, very good value for money.

Restaurant was freezing, we were sat with our coats on. The staff were just stood on their phones and not very interested in the customers. The food was super greasy and the batter was dark, like the oil in the vats needed changing. Not be going back there unless it’s for a pint and there are different staff on.

Went today (Tuesday) to watch match. All OK till 70th minute when sound gets turned off and s**t karaoke / dance music from 25 years ago comes on. A word with barman got this rectified at our end of the pub, but then disco lights appear all over screen. Left and found elsewhere to watch game. Wouldn't mind but the clientèle at the time was about 20 blokes watching the tele. Walked past the 'dj' on way out, it consisted of him and his 80 year old mam, no one else showing the slightest interest. Try catering to the people who are actually there keeping the place open instead of pretending its still the ninetys where the pub would be full of students / young adults looking to party. Very similar last Tuesday for champions league semifinal. Don't bother midweek for...

First time we've been....never again. had to wait 3/4hour for food when i complained waitress said sorry but we are busy....blarsey attitude , in other words tough. The place was 1/4 full. when it eventually came my pie was dry , gravy was like treacle , veg was HARD. My husband scampi was cold. we ate it because we were hungry but left half. I complained afterwords but all i got was shrugging shoulders do I want to see manager. I told them when they get the new menu get some new staff with better attitude too. we WON'T be going in there again. it takes alot for me to complain but it was terrible 😡. The meal we had was today 18/5/24 at 2.45pm. i shall spread the word not to go for food at...
