Bar Caffe Colombo — Restaurant in Dudley

I went in here with my partner for the first time today. We’ve always walked past and wanted to go in but it’s been really busy - we managed to sneak in today.

Brilliant food. Homemade. Brilliant service. We ordered two paninis and a bowl of chips and the panini bread was fresh, the filling was tasty, the chips were proper home fried chips I used to have when I was younger - real nostalgia kick.

The atmosphere was lovely, every table was filled with people just enjoying their afternoon, drinking coffee and catching up with friends inbetween their errands.

Really looking forward...

So highly rated, but was left underwhelmed.

Popped in today at 3pm for jacket potatoes, and 2 pots of tea. Served quickly and efficiently.

Tea was decent, had to go back up to collect sugar as nothing is left on the tables.

The jacket potato was large, with a generous topping. I was disappointed at no side salad, very usual for a cafe, and the potato itself was just microwaved and quite dry.

It was edible, and the cafe itself was pleasant but not somewhere I'd need...

Visited for the second time today after receiving such good service the first time round! They are very accommodating even to the point of welcoming us back on our return this time round! Coffee is great, they even offer alternative milks! The young person I bring with me does not like butter so we request it without and its no issue for them! I will be back and can't wait to try more from...
