Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Dudley

ordered 2 kids hot chocolates with marshmallows (charged small price, not kids) £3.25 each!!

asked to make it not too hot as it's for the kids but passed the drinks and told be careful as they will be hot! (we tried and they were scalding!)

Flat white tasted like a milky mess with barely a taste of coffee.

Customer service was non-existant, both staff seemed like they just didn't want to be there.

This Costa branch has become a sixth form common room. The 4 King Edwards students on the table next to me (all wearing college ID) bought in their own food and drinks. There were other tables with one student taking up 4 table spaces with their laptops and there was a customer standing because there were no spare tables. When I arrived the table I used had been cleared but there were 'cup rings' so obviously hadn't been cleaned. On the other hand coffee was of the usual good standard. I will not be using this...

The staff that work in this branch are lovely. Apart from the excellent coffee, they make hot chocolate at the right temperature for a child to drink and actually address them to ask them how they want their drink. It is a generally busy place with a nice atmosphere. It is always clean and tidy. I don't often buy cakes here as I always find Costa cakes a rip-off.
