I really don't know where to begin...
From what my wife, best mates and kids say the food was ok... I wouldn't know as mine didn't turn up. Four different members of staff were told about this but still no toastie for me. Eventually what I can pressume to be the supervisor/manager walked over because they couldn't work out what order was where around us. We then said to her about the toastie that hadn't turned up. At this point everybody else had finished their meals.
She went off and then come back with a receipt of our order claiming that we only ordered 1 not 2 of the toasties. She seemed to struggle to understand that both us and our friends had ordered at the same table. We explained that 2 toasties should have come but only 1 did. She then started to accuse us of basically lying about this situation. Walked off in a strop saying well I don't know what's happened there in an aggressive attitude. When I said well maybe a waitress took my food to another table she turned and walked back towards me saying there is no need for that again aggressively.
We did manage to get a refund for my meal that had been ordered 5 times in total with probably every member of staff in the building but still failed to arrive.
Oh yeah I forgot to say they also charge £7.95 for a warm sandwich and some leaves.
Safe to say we will never be returning. Mistakes happen and if the rude senior staff member had accepted their mistake I wouldn't have an issue.

Edit following response from the business: and yet, there have been dogs inside every time I've been in, and several reviews mention it's dog friendly. So you're either lying, inconsistent, need to train your staff better, or some combination of all of them. Given that the primary customer base in a park is people with dogs, it seems a strange idea to alienate them. Read morePreviously five star. I and my family were regulars and for the last few years have always enjoyed coming here. Sadly no more. For the second time in a week there was exactly the same error in my order. When I tried to point this out to the waitress I was told "No need to be arsey". The manager did apologise but also said that waitresses didn't like to be spoken to aggressively. It appears to me that the slightest criticism is taken as aggression by these kids.
All I wanted was an apology and an acknowledgment that they were in error.
