BETTER LATE THAN NEVER! 5* We spent a lovely evening in this Thai restaurant back in August 2020 when the UK was open for a little while! Well what can we say we had one of the most lovely experiences of eating Authentic Thai food going. Lovely front of house staff, bar staff and the main co owner chef was kind enough to come out and chat to us after the meal. The food was spot on. Fresh, flavoursome and beautifully presented. They say when eating....... the first bite is with the eyes and we were not let down. Decor and customer service was lovely for a independent Thai restaurant. I visited last Monday night with my family for my sister’s birthday and had the most amazing Thai food I’ve ever had !! My daughter had been previously and recommended it and so glad she did! Everything tasted so fresh and was beautifully presented with the most friendliest and efficient waitress. I can’t rate the food high enough but it was just so delicious and all 7 of us said the same and we had a variety of dishes. We were even given a plate full of banana fritters and ice cream as it was my sister’s birthday which we all thought was a lovely touch and they were absolutely gorgeous! Ate here with five others last Saturday and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. We were seated and served really quickly and got our drinks within a few minutes of ordering. Starters were really delicious and piping hot and our mains arrived soon after. My main was quite spicy and I would have preferred for this to be explained on the menu as it was a surprise! Everyone else's mains were nice but everyone said that the meat was quite tough and tasted cheap, mine included. Not sure why the restaurant would invest in such poor meat considering the prices of the food / how excellent the service was as this really let them down. I would return again but I feel quite hesitant about coming back...
