Large mixed grill - the cross kingswinford Wetherspoons Value for money it is really good as there is plenty of meat choice and sides Taste wise it is what you would expect from a spoons mixed grill. All the meat was cooked fine and wasnt tough. I did however find the mushroom very greasy so that was left for the scrap bin. Not many chips served but as they over served on onion rings we can let that slide Was very busy for a Wednesday afternoon. Was shocked to see the car park full and had to park behind co op. All in all not a bad Wednesday afternoon outing when ya want something cheap and cheerful. I would return as the prices are very good. Overall score 7/10

I visited with my family for breakfast. The pub is really well laid out, lots of seating with booths, tables and higher tables by the bar. Huge selection of food and drink all at reasonable prices. If you just wanted a coffee it's £1.56 with free refills. Lavazza coffee and great machines so they made good coffee. I had the eggs Benedict which was very good, great quality ham, eggs were perfect and a great flavor sauce. All the team were super friendly. The place does have a small car park but there is plenty of surrounding car parking should this be full. Really super value. I would definitely visit again. Be aware this place gets very busy. Thank you.

A well organised and exceptionally well presented JD Wetherspoon. The staff are very well presented with a friendly manner and have been well trained. The food is in keeping with the JD Wetherspoon ethos of low price straightforward pub food. The drinks menu is superb catering for beer, cider, lager, wine spirits, soft drinks and hot drinks. The outdoor seating areas are first rate Remember to register your car at the screen close to the door to avoid a fine. This Wetherspoon is well worth a visit.

Such a shame to be let down by yet another wetherspoons. I come in a lot with my family to eat or drink and other than the occasional food complaint or general uncleanliness of tables, there’s never usually anything to grumble about especially staff. We are usually greeted or served by kind or attentive staff, but after last night I have nothing but resentment toward some of the staff working there. My friends and I were respectful and cooperative with any of the staff who came to speak to us, but we didn’t have that behaviour reciprocated. We were accused of bringing alcohol in to drink (which by the way was false as the bottle wasn’t open, it was purely because we were going to a party after and we had gone to spoons for pres - the bottle was only there to take with us later on and we had no where else to put it). As a result, the staff were rude and snarky with their remarks regarding us having a bottle on us, but we cooperated and moved the bottle so it was hidden under jackets. We were continuously harassed by the bartenders coming outside standing by our table just staring at us and questioning us even though we hadn’t disobeyed what was asked of us. Nevertheless, we tried to ignore this and enjoy our evening. We went to sit inside (right next to the bar by the way) to get out from the cold, to only then be greeted with by yet another rude member of staff who had no explanation for why she was kicking us out so when we asked kindly for the manager to explain what the reason was, she rolled her eyes and was sarcastic with the manager over her headset. I didn’t expect to be treated so unkindly by middle age women. The manager came down and said “I heard you wanted to speak to me” in a patronising tone as if she wasn’t the one falsely accusing us of breaking the pub rules just because we are teenagers (with proof of ID as well of course which happened to cause more of an issue as other staff kept taking it off us, like we didn’t have a right to be there). We remained calm with the manager (I didn’t get names) until she said we are being kicked out no negotiation. We got annoyed and defensive as we knew we hadn’t done anything as we had all bought alcoholic drinks during the evening which we had on the table with us. This got us no where as she said we were still being asked to leave and caused a scene near the bar - all the bartenders were asked not to serve us again and a friend who works there also said they were talking about us behind the bar which I find highly disrespectful, especially when we knew we had been nothing but calm and respectful to everyone who spoke to us all night, until we were treated so poorly by the manager. I’d understand such treatment if I was in a high end restaurant where everything is overpriced and your paying for an excellent degree of service, but such attitudes from staff working at the local wetherspoons is appalling. You know when you enter a spoons you’re going to get microwaved food or dirty tables, but on top of that impertinent staff?? I think my money would be more worthwhile going toward some more staff training on politeness and manners over their speciality of ‘under microwaved pasta’. The audacity. I hope to see some improvement in the very near future, as I know i’m not the only one who...

We had a table for 9 booked on Saturday night at 7 . o'clock. Upon ordering the food which there were 3 different orders my wife had problems with the staff as to how they had inputted the orders, this was eventually sorted. 10 mins later one of the orders came out which was the starter's for our friends only to find that our starter order had not been processed, only to find that the till staff then asked my wife to pay again as it had not registered on the till. In the mean time the mains for our friends had already come out only to be sent back as they were still eating their starter's. When our starter came part of it was cold by which time we were fed up and eat it anyway. The mains then came out , all of which had problems with ( microwave chicken, cold ) ( steak that you can't cut ) (chips that were cooked then warmed up) a complete disaster for a Saturday night eat out. We complaind and eventually agreed to a re fund. Which was a disaster as well. The lad in charge did not have a clue as he was the kitchen manager. ( his pub manager was out on business ) While all this was going on at least several tables were complaining and walking out. All in not a good night out. We eventually got a refund after the manager had talked to his staff on how to process it. Very poor and will not...

Have had a couple of weekend breakfasts there and they were lovely....Did find though tables were sticky from poor cleaning and have read similar reviews about cleaning issues before posting this tonight.... Was eating at lunchtime today with family members for my birthday... Meals were very nice and enjoyable...not good to hear though that I couldn't have custard with my choice of apple crumble for dessert ..... At what point can the catering team not get someone to skip across the road to the Co-op to purchase some Custard powder or even some tins of custard.... Aahhhh.... Ambrosia... 😋 Let's just say if King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla were ordering Custard today with their apple crumble ....they would have been served Custard.... In fact it would have been a crime not to have served them Custard!!! 🤪 Post note : Having had the apple crumble (with Custard) at a previous dining there.... (WHICH was delicious by the way....)...today's apple crumble ...was a mess in the dish and was oversweet.... 🤮 I like sweet....but....autumnal apple crumble should ideally be tart on...
