Arigato Sushi and Ramen — Restaurant in Dunfermline

I’ll start by saying don’t eat here. The quality has me very worried about how I’m going to feel within the next 24 hours. Ordering sushi can be dicey, but based on the reviews I had high hopes. Perhaps a lot of the customers of this establishment haven’t eaten at many other sushi restaurants, because this tops my list of bad and I’ve eaten a LOT of sushi and yes, gotten food poisoning (I’m a risky eater, it backfires sometimes). The colour of the sushi was off (tuna was brown), warm, mushy, and fishy (sushi grade fish should have little to no ‘fishy’ flavour). My poke bowl had unripe mango.. so unripe it was crunchy. The sushi rice wasn’t sushi rice - sushi rice should have a slightly sweet flavour, it was bland and warm (should be cold). Everything other than the dumplings and prawn tempura was pretty gross. It took an hour and a half to get our food....

Having moved to Fife a number of years ago, we have really struggled to find a local and decent Sushi outlet, and what a wonderful surprise it was to find Arigato yesterday evening. We normally eat at Nanakusa in Glasgow and must say that the offerings from Arigato are also very delicious! The food was fantastic, very fresh and tasty, and being my wife's birthday, also a huge sushi lover, she was extremely happy not to have to travel to Glasgow, so many thanks indeed! Also, huge thanks for going above and beyond to get our delivery out to us being outside of your normal delivery area, greatly appreciated!

The reviews of this place are definitely fake, made by family members or the owners themselves. The food was terrible, one of the worst I've ever had. The chicken was dry and seemed like ot was cooked 2 days ago. It wasn't even hot and we collected in person so definitely been microwaved or something.
