As I haven't got any response from you on my email I would like to share my experience with the others

I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration regarding the experience my party and I had at your restaurant on 30.03.2024.We had come to celebrate a special occasion, a birthday, and unfortunately, our experience fell far short of our expectations.

From the moment we arrived, there were several issues that marred the celebration.

Once seated, the problems persisted. The service was slow and inattentive, with long gaps between courses and difficulty getting the attention of our server.

Perhaps most egregiously, there was a complete lack of acknowledgment of the birthday we were there to celebrate. Despite mentioning the occasion when making the reservation and again upon arrival, there was no recognition from the staff, let alone any special gesture to mark the occasion.Staff brought the spoons to the table and asked how is having a dessert - when we clearly said upon the arrival this is a surprise . When I have spoken to the lady and explained her we doesn't want a dessert anymore as that's supposed to be a surprise - she said dessert are ready . I said we want to leave them as this is not surprise anymore , she brought the receipt with very bad attitude without saying apologies . She just left the receipt on te table . When we were leaving I have asked for her name and it was Caren I said we are unhappy from her attitude and she ruined my friend birthday - she said ok ok . Didn't apologise at all .

As a frequent patron of your establishment, I have always held your restaurant in high regard. However, the experience we had tonight has left a sour taste in my mouth. Not only was our celebration ruined, but our overall impression of your establishment has been tarnished.

I hope that you will take this feedback seriously and take steps to address the issues we encountered. While I understand that mistakes happen, it is essential that corrective action is taken to ensure that other patrons do not have to endure a similar experience...

as commented below, unfortunately, attempts to contact the restaurant on site about the situation and via e-mail were completely ignored. Unfortunately, I have to give a negative review. a birthday that was supposed to be a surprise turned out to be a complete disaster because someone probably didn't understand my request, which I made over the phone after making the reservation, talking to a very nice gentleman. While talking on the phone and after arriving, I explained that the dessert with a candle was supposed to be a surprise, and then I was told to discreetly indicate the people who were celebrating a birthday and the dessert would be served for them. After quite a long wait for the meals, it was time for dessert and once again it was ordered discreetly from the lady at the entrance. I had the impression that the lady accepted my request for the second time as a surprise. then a waiter approached the table, asking who was waiting for dessert, bringing spoons, not desserts. Apart from the fact that I also work in gastronomy and I know that mistakes can happen, I was very shocked when (we gave up on dessert because unfortunately the person celebrating the birthday guessed what was going on and said that he didn't want this dessert) , we didn't even receive a word of sorry. We heard that the service was nice. I am very sorry but my efforts on my partner and son birthday were wasted only because of as I can understand, the lack of communication between the staff. At the end we get our bill that was brought by the lady and we obviously could feel that the lady is not very happy about the situation but still didnt even try to say a...

Just returned home for my 1st experience at Casa Mia tonight and i can now honestly say that this is the best Italian restaurant in the City of Dunfermline. Happy , bright atmosphere with smiling staff to match.

Four in our party with a mix of starters from fresh seafood to pate and bread. Thankfully, i got to try them all and I couldn’t fault any and would gladly have eaten them all.

Main courses,again were all a mixed bag from pizza to pasta and seafood. Never having had Ragu Di Agnello before,I personally went for that. Amazing dish that i would order again without hesitation. I tried my sons meatball pizza which lucky for me, he couldn’t finish on his own. Pizza was as id except, authentic with a great crust. My wife,the fish connoisseur between us assures me that the Misto Di Mare was hands down the best mixed fish dish she has experienced in any restaurant, nevermind Italian or even in Dunfermline.

The desserts finished off a fabulous meal with ice cream of various flavours, pistachio being the stand out, to cheesecake. Normally cheesecakes have a hint of the flavour it claims to be but you could tell it was a mango one with every bite.

The only disappointment we had on leaving Casa Mia was that we had waited so long to try it. Great job guys, we wish you all the best and my wife assures me we shall...
