Quite dissapointed at our visit. We came last wednesday (07/02/2018). It was myself, my mum and our friend who is 94 and has dementia. We arrived at 2.25 after looking online your cafe stated it was open till 4pm. Appon arrival we noticed a sign saying it was only open till 3. So we go in. Have a seat. I went to go order something to eat. The girl that served me was rather rude. Stating there was only 5 minutes left to order something hot. "So i better hurry up" she said. So still ordered a toastie. A coffee and 2 cans of juice. Didnt know how where the cans were. As this was my first visit here. She guestures to the right. "Just over there" she sounded totally not bothered. So we also got 2 cakes. She couldnt tell me which cakes had nuts in as our 94 year old has a nut allergy. How could you not tell me which ones had nuts or not? So we sit down with cakes and drinks and my toastie. The time is now 2.45 all the kids have left the play area. The families are leaving. Its just us and another couple inside. The staff start going around clearing up tables while we are still in. Now our 94 year old friend drinks her coffe quite slow. Staff kept saying we are closing soon. We are closing very soon. She still had half a cup left to drink! Our stuff was getting taken away while we were still seated. All that was left was the cup of coffee that they wouldnt even let her finish. So we had to abandon our stuff and leave. Hadnt even moved a meter away from our table and theyve cleared it. Chairs ontop of table. Ready for us to leave
So unimpressed with the service. Not happy with the false information on the internet. Most likely...

Now I know why, the first lady got my order wrong, an easy mistake to make I guess, until you realise that no one really knows what they are doing in there. Two staff members were wandering about cluelessly trying to find out who the food orders belonged to (desire there appearing to be a number system), and there were another two pretending not to notice the dirty tables and the seagulls dive bombing the left overs. It's ok, but there are better...
Read moreFife council spend very little but ordained to build a modern cafe in what I'd call their best all rounder park. It is a welcome oasis for families with kids. Food is simple but reflected in the prices. You get a mini soft play and clean loos. Some times you head out with the kids and all you want is a bowl of soup and a ham sandwich. Everyone needs the loo and a handwash. Take 30 minutes quiet refuelling (or noisy) then head out for the second half...if this doesn't sound like it makes any sense to you-then it isn't your kind of place. Sushi lovers and haut cuisine look...
