Went to their food truck last Saturday at the Royal air show at Paignton, wanted to get some "authentic Italian coffee" they said. There was no signs where to queue, went to where they serve coffee to queue up then being told I had to go order at where they serve gelato, show was starting, decided to leave.

A couple of hours later, hubby wanted a nice coffee so I said I will try again. Queued up wh where they serve the gelato, ordered my affogato with tiramisu gelato and a cappuccino.

When I was queuing, I saw that they took the order at the back of the truck where they said for pick up only. The lady customer made the payment and got her coffee there. Well so much of a fair treatment.

After I ordered, I was waiting for my coffee then they forgot what my order was. I also confronted why others can order wherever they want but I was told off, plus they are so busy that they forgot my order. His attitude was nasty and wouldn't admit that is his problem. He said he was just asking a question, I was too, asking why there can be such an unfair treatment. Customers should waste their time queuing while they try to figure out how to be organized, guess that's what it takes to have a nice coffee, maybe.

A lady staff came up to explain that was her fault that she was so busy so she cannot let the guy know about my order. It's not just that. It's the temper, it's the unfairness.

The other guy came in, I asked the same question (cos he was the one told me to queue at the gelato) he insisted the customer should order at the gelato section but then I said well doesn't seem all are treated the same.

He then gave me £10 back, I said I do not want my money back. I'm a customer who pays I'm not looking for freebie.

Food trucks come and go, maybe that's why customers are not being cared for.

If you would like some soso coffee with a lot of attitude, go for it. Authentic Italian coffee? I have had better, plenty more and a lot better. Will I go back or...

We went here last night, we were a party of 8 for a birthday celebration. A buzzing restaurant that was quite full and seemed well staffed with 5 waiting staff including the owner and what seemed a well staffed kitchen. It took a while to get drinks and even longer to order food. A note to the waiter who took our order: my 17 year old son has to have a Gluten free diet, which at his age is pretty tough for him. He can become very ill if he eats gluten. when he ordered plain chicken and chips he did not expect you to make fun of him for 5 minutes, I think you thought you were being funny, you weren’t. It was , disgraceful and something we have never experienced in a restaurant. My food was not good at all, chewy veal and a gloup sauce over it,. The worst thing about our evening was the constant bad service, forgetting drinks, wrong drinks, forgetting side orders and having to ask three times for most things. Very young untrained staff with an aggressive head waiter with attitude to them. Not an enjoyable evening. My brother settled the bill so I don’t know the cost, I hope he didn’t pay the service charge.

I would like to now add that the actual owner (not who I thought it was) rang me this morning and was very apologetic and offered to make amends. He explained the situation and it makes a bit more sense now. We will revisit when we next come down from London to visit our family. Thank you...

Difficult to find the right word, but horrible is the first one I would use. Ordered two pizzas, one hour and half ago ,Eddie and Napoli .Both of them really poor quality ingredients, the dough was rather dried than baked, and Im convinced two of the ingredients on them out of date- salami and prosciutto. No oregano, poor quality sauce ,I believe it's all just about money here, no pride or anything like that from the owner . And I can write a book about Italian food, not just an ordinary pizza... Go for a fish and chips if you really want a take away by the beach, or try the small shops nearby ,all with lovely decent food .I wish I can write a different review really, but people need to know what to expect... I can't comment on the restaurant service, as I never went there, but I doubt the food is much better quality, unless you have few drinks before and see the things with different...

We came here as we wanted to find a little authentic Italian restaurant whilst on holiday in Exmouth. The atmosphere was nice, the staff seemed a little rushed off their feet. Service was quite slow, but food was ready quite quickly. There was only 3 servers but given it was the summer holidays there may have been staff on leave. The food was lovely, nice big portions. The price was above average, slightly more than expected but we ended the night with a nice scoop of gelato that we went up and picked ourselves. If there’s kids in there (which is likely as there’s a gelato fridge where kids swarm to to pick their ice creams) then it can be loud and echoey. But overall we had a pleasant evening

Fantastic food! Went in on a Saturday night with my family and enjoyed a lovely meal. The staff were all brilliant, attentive and humorous. I had the prawn starter which had nicely big seasoned prawns. The garlic bread we shared was also great For main I had the veal escalope. It was cooked perfectly and came on a bed of sage mashed potato. Delicious flavours! Not so much a 'red wine demiglace' and more like a gravy but that was fine with me. My sisters pollo penne was a little overcooked but the sauce was super creamy. The place isn't cheap and we only really went because we had a gift voucher but we were very happy to have been.

I judge a place instantly on the cleanliness of menus, cutlery and glassware and it was spotless. I had the filet steak in a pepper sauce. One of the best steaks I have ever had. We also really enjoyed the Veneto Merlot - really smooth and no hang over today! Great staff, lovely lady behind the bar- she has exactly the right approach with people and made us feel like nothing was too much trouble, Excellent meal and great fun. The chefs deserve a special mention because without them ...well let's say they are excellent. Will be back!
