Instead of getting food delivered from our local Chinese takeaway, we drove six miles to collect our order, in search of the traditional fresh flavours of Thai cuisine... we ordered a shared starter, a hot and sour soup and two vegetable pad thai. The starter was nice enough but expensive. The soup was ok but not very spicy, the Pad Thai was garnished with lemon instead of lime and it did little to mask the overwhelming sickly flavour of cheap sweet chilli sauce!
