I have had an awful experience with the Alton branch.
My order was delivered and a sprite was forgotten. As asked by the delivery driver, I was told to call the store. I did so and was asked whether I wanted it delivered with the next order or refunded. I asked for it to be delivered as it was the only order my daughter had made.. she didn't fancy pizza tonight.
We waited an hour and a half for the delivery and then decided to call and ask when it would be delivered. We were told it was refunded. Therefore, we were lied to. We have been waiting an hour and a half, missed the last shop and now will not receive the order.
The person I spoke to on the phone initially was pleasant, I believe his name was Jostar. He was the person who said we would get a delivery. The person I spoke with when I called a second time was extremely rude, claimed it wasn't a big deal (appalling customer service), told me he was upset, claimed that I had misunderstood, and when I asked whether the free pizza I was promised as compensation could be jotted down on the email he was already sending with the refund receipt, I was told I had to trust him and that if I don't trust him there is no point me ever ordering from there again... that developed into a huge rant on his part about customer trust? When I said that I could just record that part of the conversation as confirmation if easier, he proceeding in telling me i was breaking the law and he was going to call the police on me now, and I will never be served again and he will refund me the whole order amount. This still hasn't been confirmed by email, as promised.
The second person I spoke to claimed to be the "bigger manager", his name was Paban.
I am absolutely appalled by this service. I have been threatened with the police, lied to and made to feel like I have done something wrong by asking if my sprite could be delivered when I was simply given that as an option.
What was meant to be a special take out and movie night has been tainted and I am extremely upset.
And for the information of the "bigger manager", it is not illegal for a customer to record a phone conversation for personal use. Only for the business to record without consent. As you "know all about the law", I figured this would be helpful...

Having already had a shocking experience with one restaurant today, Dominos was really not what I needed!
Usually we order from Pizza Time in Alton, as we had a bad experience with cold pizza from Pizza Hut Alton previously. But for some reason we decided to give them another chance?!
So we ordered our Pizza with some difficulty, as the guy on the phone couldn’t take an order properly or add up!
We were informed that our pizza would be with us within 40mins to 1 hour. Unfortunately the reality was that it was these two combined, and our order turned up after 1hr, 40mins.
An apologetic guy informed us that he had come from another Pizza Hut to help out. Which to be fair they seem to need in Alton.
The trouble was that we had been trying to ring Pizza Hut Alton for 30mins already without a reply?!
My wife is pregnant and needs to eat, so we had already made other arrangements, assuming the the pizza wasn’t turning up? With no answer on the phone, we had no idea if our food was coming or not?
We will not be using Pizza Hut Alton again and would recommend Pizza Time as an alternative as they know how to take an order and are efficient enough to get it to...

Another time I was advised "the next time you order ring on this mobile number you're using now and i'll put a note for a discount on your next order" - guess what... nope!
The final cold food experience I called and was offered an entire copy of the previous meal only - This was actually the manager I spoke with this time who ended up arguing with me the customer over what was an acceptable service after again 1hr delivery and cold pizza barely sliced.
