This place has gone downhill rapidly since it was taken over by Craft Union. No ales on tap apart from Worthington or some other generic rubbish. The service (if you can call it that) is atrocious. As per the heading, this is a sports bar. I was here on a Tuesday afternoon, when the other pubs in Petersfield were quiet. This had a lively crowd. It's high summer, so Wimbledon tennis was being shown on the plentiful TV screens... though I don't think many were very interested in that! Most were there for the craic. What a great pub! Lovely atmosphere, good service, lots of locals, and a lovely stop for a drink on our road trip through the south of England!
