Mudlarks Garden Cafe — Restaurant in East Hertfordshire

New FAVE café – might need to move to Hertford. We just had the yummiest, freshest veggie breakfasts + coffees (iced mocha = to die for) and smoothies. We needed to spend some time here working while waiting for someone at an appointment, and the café has the best ambience – not noisy, chilled background music, widely spaced tables, comfy chairs, all clean and beautifully furnished and decorated. And all profits to charity, supporting people with learning difficulties and MH issues. Staff couldn't be lovelier too....

You've got to love the mudlarks cafe. A great local charity supporting adults with learning disabilities and other similar challenges. Tasty vegetarian food, with homemade home grown produce. Great cakes too. The cafe has limited space and can be quite busy. If you can't cope with stairs then you need to take your chances and there is no accessible toilet. Small courtyard available if the weather is good. Comfy sofa upstairs. Got to go and show...

As things have changed again so has my review. The situation has not seemed to slowed this growing cafe. Another super meal in the cafe today (see photos) Has two tables outside in a private court yard with Umbrellas then lovely park bench’s street side. Rest of the seating is well spaced inside. Blended oat Frappe is fab! Takeaway still available and never seems to take long. Still very dog and kid friendly! Staff helpful...
