Me and a friend went for Sunday lunch yesterday & the food was lovely, we ate our luch in the dinning room & then moved through on to the sofas for coffee and cake, my friend doesn't normally do sweet treats but there was so much choice there was even 1 that she liked which was nice, lattes were lovely too, the staff were so nice, very friendly, welcoming and so helpful, especially a gentleman called Andrew, he came over and asked us if we enjoyed our luch in the dinning room, later on asked us if our coffee and cake was ok and wheather he could get us an other drink, we thought he had great customer service, so much so I asked him is name before we left, we got there at 1.30pm & left at 4.45pm and didn't feel rushed, so much so me & my friend was chatting away & forget it was Sunday hour's so I said to Andrew, what time do you close & he said there's no rush we close when our last customer leaves which we thought was so loverly of him to say, become we dine out alot and we always say that customer service isn't what it use to be & it doesn't matter how nice the food is if you don't get the customer service right people don't come back and lanagans definitely has that right that's why I have given you 5* instead of 4* shall definitely be back & thank you, we enjoyed our ladies at...
Read moreI had the all-day breakfast. Asked for fried bread instead of toast - not a problem. Black pudding isn't in the breakfast, but they were able to provide some anyway. Bacon was of good quality and, for me, cooked to perfection. Sausages are Lincoln Sausages I think - cooked well and flavoursome. Chose my egg fried and that too was of good quality and cooked well. Tea or coffee included in the price.
I upgraded the coffee to cappuccino and with the addition of black pudding the final cost was £9.70
Service was friendly and the dining area is simple, clean and uncrowded - the table's are not crammed together.
Overall, I'd highly recommend the all day breakfast - good quality where it counts, cooked well and plentiful. I'll return for the Sunday...

I ordered extra sandwiches. The egg and cress were really the best I've had in a long time. Group bookings welcome. And it was very busy but still staff were attentive and not stressed etc. would definitely...
