Veneziaa Bar and Restaurant — Restaurant in East Staffordshire

We booked a table for a party of 10 for Friday evening, our initial thoughts were that the new premises seemed nice. Well furnished and friendly staff however that’s where it ended. We waited 45 minutes for our order to be taken but we would could see it was very busy so we all understood. Our starters didn’t come out for another hour, it was only until something was said to a waitress that they then started serving the table in panic, we all felt the table had been forgotten about. The starter is what I can only described as out of the pack and into the fryer, i ordered the calamari which was 100% not freshly cooked and had come straight out of a packet, this can be said for the majority of the other starters ordered by the table. After the disappointment from the starters we all hoped the mains would make up for it. They didn’t, we waited another 45 minutes for our mains to come out with no apology from the staff or management. The whole tables mains were average at best by this time we didn’t want to eat as we had been waiting for so long and didn’t feel like a valued customer. Our whole table was unimpressed with the level of service and food we received, there was no apology about the whole amount of time we had to wait or the fact the food was not freshly cooked (mainly the starters) The bill was paid which was over £400, we had no form of apology from the management or member of staff. The new bigger premise looks nice but they quite clearly can’t handle they level customers they are receiving we left disappointed with the whole experience and looking at never coming back. If you want a quality freshly cooked Italian try the Bridge Inn at Tatenhill at least there you know the food is freshly cooked and you won’t be left waiting over an hour for...

I'm very happy to share our enjoyable experience at Veneziaa restaurant in Burton.

Although not situated in the one of the prettiest locations in Burton once you step in you can see this is a restaurant where care and attention have been made in creating a pleasant ambiance for dining.

We started with olives and halloumi. The olives were perfectly marinated, offering a burst of Mediterranean flavors in every bite. The halloumi, grilled to perfection, was a delightful combination of creamy and savory.

Moving on to the main course, we tried the pizza and pasta dishes. The pizza boasted a thin, crispy crust with fresh toppings. It was evident that high-quality ingredients were used, and the food had been correctly seasoned - A+. The pasta was cooked al dente and generously coated in a rich, flavorful sauce. Two thumbs up for the pasta as well!

We chose the ice cream cheesecake dessert for afters which we shared. The velvety smoothness of the ice cream paired flawlessly with the indulgent cheesecake, creating a sweet conclusion to our meal.

Beyond the food, the restaurant's ambiance was warm and inviting, providing a comfortable setting for a memorable meal. The attentive staff added to the overall positive experience, ensuring that we were happy with the food.

We rounded off with coffee which was authentic Italian.

In total, just under £30/head.

We called in for my partners birthday hoping for a last minute table and the place was very busy, showing how popular the restaurant is. We where greeted by a very friendly professional man called Falcone who informed us it may take 20 mins for a table so I looked at my partner and said its your birthday so your choice and as soon as I had mentioned it was a birthday Falcone said wait ill sort it and got us a lovely table straight away 😊 which was just so kind and brilliant service from the start.

The atmosphere is quaint and cosy, the service was fast and the food was that good we returned the next day for another meal as we loved it so much !

The whole team are super professional and friendly always chatty and making sure everything is perfect

Thanks guys for not 1 but 2 memorable evenings we highly recommend a visit to venezia and we will certainly visit again when we come back to beautiful Bourton on the water...
