KFC Burton on Trent - Guild Street — Restaurant in East Staffordshire

this place gets worse and worse becouse of staff and iam visiting since 2013 never been so bad then like last 3-5months? mainly the afternoon shifts take them ages to provide food they chatting at the back and laughing showing themselves "funny" videos from their mobile phones, they never say thanks or have a good day nothing i say thank you and nothing in return just ignorance i feel like if i dont order from them they whould have more time to do nothing just chatting so i feel guilty for ordering actually. however it never been like this before there was always good staff there as i visiting for many years. but they must made some changes or what i dont know but night staff is arrogant terrible and not mentioning they keep messing up orders so bad. always something missing ALWAYS they like unable to make correct order. if i order for £6 okej they may make it correctly (sometimes not even that, the more i order the more extreme difficult it is for them to make order right, so i sometimes just order less just to avoid it again someting missing, if i order more orders for more people like price is £15+ there is always something missing which i have to cam back for it and instead they say "we are sorry that we forgot it" they look angry or have a laugh for basically mistake that they done. so arogant. its night shift only important to say day shift is good if this attitude changes i be changing me review too. also food is good so i dont...

Visited here on a number of occasions, and can hand on heart say that it's one of the most disorganised, poorly managed and dirty KFC restaurants I've visited.

I understand that they can get busy, however there is no excuse for overflowing bins and dirty tables, especially during the times of COVID. In all the times I've visited, the place has never screamed 'clean' to me.

The staff can be curt and abrupt, which I believe is a result of the stress to try and keep up with the number of orders.

You're told to wait to be called for an eat-in order, however not given the number you are expected to know when the staff bark it repeatedly over the collection counter. Despite eating in, we recieved our meal wrapped in a takeaway bag, without any condiments or even the basics such as straws and serviettes which we had to go back and ask for at the counter.

There's little to no point of 2 drive thru windows, as in my experience you are more often than not told at the second to go and wait in the car where it can take 15 minutes upwards to recieve your order.

2 stars for the quality of food (which is the standard you'd accept for KFC), however everything else about the restaurant is haphazard.

If you're in Burton, I'd take the hit on petrol and visit the branch on the A50/A38 services in Willington instead - miles...

While at this establishment, I was horrified, when visiting the toilets, to see the filthy condition they were in, despite the notice claiming they were inspected regularly. It was clear they had not been cleaned for a considerable time and could see no signed rota verifying they had even been checked, which clearly they hadn't. The food itself was not to the usual high standard I have come to expect from KFC. The chicken was not as hot as it should be, in some cases I would go so far as to say it was cold, and one piece clearly had not even been fully cooked through, on top of all this, every piece was very greasy. While eating in the restaurant, I witnessed a member of staff enter from outside, with a bag, containing what I can only imagine was a rejected meal, which he then proceeded to re-rack behind the counter, ready for redistribution to the next unsuspecting customer. It was at this point, I left the restaurant, leaving behind what remained of my meal, with the intention of never returning to this branch of KFC ever again! I would strongly recommend people avoid this branch, and enjoy food from any other restaurant / takeaway in the town, knowing they will not be risking their health as much as they would by...
