With a very well deserved positive 5*+ reputation (in my opinion!) Heils is genuinely one of the best, if the very best, cafés in Lowestoft. Tasty, fresh, home baked food, usually on the same day of sale. Breads and cakes, and lovely, made-to-order snacks and light meals, make this an extremely popular local eaterie within the town center itself. Heils is easily accessible for Prams or buggies. The café is also very wheelchair friendly - the staff will happily turn tables round for easy access to the tables so that disabled can dine in comfort with their companions, and they are always very happy to carry full trays to the table with a smile and a friendly demeanour, for those of us who find it difficult. Good choice of hot & cold savouries and desserts on display. Superb looking cooked breakfast being prepared as I waited for my snack. Almost made me change my order! Unfortunately I had already had breakfast. Pricing is excellent & the place was packed. As soon as we got up from our table a couple quickly jumped in - says it all really. Very happy to see you and serve you, there's a great selection of products all freshly prepared on-site in the bakery, above the shop good place for ladies to do lunch or brunch and grab some rolls whatever takes your fancy. You can even bring your kids can be quite busy at times but well worth the extra few minutes in the queue fresh products great prices...
