Went here for our 1st time tonight with great expectations ( we like Prezzos ) BUT OMG NEVER again will I ever go here !!! We booked a table and on arrival we were given a table where it said collection area ( we heard the manager say to a young chap no more bookings ( he said this twice ) my husband then called over said manager and asked why we were put in the collection area, to which he then moved us to a better table( bearing in mind 2 lots of people arrived just after us and got taken to tables actually in the restaurant. Then we waited for ever to be served, food standard not too good. And then seeing our taxi waiting for us we asked a young girl for our bill, but before I could ask for a box for my pizza she had gone like the wind. But she acknowledged that we needed the bill, but to my disbelief she continued to clean tables , so we asked someone for our bill who was busy talking to other staff member. My husband said to her we are in a rush, but alas no apology!! I then approached the original waitress whom we asked for bill 10 mins ago and sarcastically said Thank you for your service to which she said Thank you until I informed her I was bring sarcastic! The service was appalling. MR PREZZO this branch needs attention . Very bad...

Came in for a early , quick dinner whilst away on a work trip and fancied a pasta dish and Prezzo was 2 minutes down the road. On arrival the restaurant was quiet , clean and cool on what was an extremely hot day. I went with the cabnara which was really tasty and it was a good sized portion. After a long day at work I ordered my self an old fashioned whiskey which was light and refreshing. My disappointment comes in the staff and more shocking the management. Firstly I was never given a check back on my meal or asked about another drink which for.me is just standard good practice. This was made worse by the fact that the restaurant was very quiet and the 5 floor staff including the managers seemed more interested in chatting and goofing around the bar area than take care of the tables they did have. It was to my shock that when I was looking to get some attention to have my water refilled that I saw the female manager behind the bar nibbling on something , olives , nuts not to sure but picking them out from the handful in her hand and then proceeded to come back onto the floor not washing her hands so this was very disappointing to witness and experience because my meal...

We went here a few times over Covid/lockdown and they were pretty good (possibly because they were quiet).

I selected the 'Oak Smoked Salmon Penne'. It was awful! I took the first bite of pasta and the whole thing tasted fishy! Now I know that you'd expect that having chosen a fish dish, but in a meal like this, you want creamy pasta that is enhanced by flakes of salmon. A mixture of flavour within one dish. But the salmon could have been anything! It looked like it had come from a can and tasted so too. It didn't even taste like salmon - just a bit fishy, but not the fish because the whole thing tasted the same.

There were also a few mistakes from staff like spilling drinks and a lack of care (I think they should come over and say "is everything OK with your meals?" after serving and they didn't.

The same staff worked last year and were excellent. Maybe they were too busy due to half term and couldn't...

Food was okay, bit bland, had the lobster ravioli, to be honest it could have been tuna inside that's how bland it was. Tomato pasta was bland, the best thing was the pizza (hard to get wrong). Ordered some chips that were so dry and I think cooked twice to the point the chips had become hollow and just a crispy shell! Service was not the best, served by a manager who couldn't crack a smile thus made us feel awkward about asking him for anything. The plates had fingerprints all over them and what an overpriced menu! The toffee cake dessert was okay, but the brownie was so tasteless and the rasberry promised on the side was left off. Also some of the chairs are cracked and leather peeling off. Way overpriced for what it is to be honest.

Really busy when we visited on a Friday evening...which was great to see. We miss Prezzos since ours closed down recently (cue sad face 😞). a table for four was found quickly (we hadn't booked). I strayed off piste this time and went for a ricotta and courgette pizza - lush! My husband went for the burger which he was pleased to discover was consistently amazing as ever (the Prezzo burger is his absolute fave). Prezzo is a chain which some say has seen its hay-day but we like it. The Felixstowe branch is a lovely location with a great outdoor space. So if you want a chain where you know what you're getting (and is consistently good) they we say...why not...
