Taco Bell — Restaurant in East Suffolk

First time I've ever stepped into a Taco Bell today - I loved it! Similar to a modern McDonald's - there are digital ordering stations near the main entrance. If you want to order at the till - make your way to the front as it was busy when we were there and those who had already ordered were loitering in something that resembled a queue. (The people behind us waited behind us even tho we had ordered and they hadn't!) I was a bit nervous about the food but I needn't of worried -The food was very very good and if I'm being honest a lot better than I was expecting. I would liken it to a Mexican McDonald's! There was minimal interaction with the staff so it would be unfair to say much about them but the whole experience was great - I will be returning again. Lastly I'd say Taco Bell will improve footfall in the town centre so what's not...

I was gutted when Taco Bell closed down in Great Yarmouth so was over the moon when I heard there would be one in Lowestoft. Took me a while to get there but I did and it was lush. If you're expecting authentic Mexican cuisine, this definitely is not the place for you, but if you want something quick and tasty, then this is definitely the place. The area looks so much more spacious compared to when it was a mcdonalds and it was nice and light inside (just a side note, only thing I would really say is the windows were in desperate need of a clean). It wasn't busy when we went so were served quick. Staff were really friendly. I got the chicken crunch wrap supreme, with nacho cheese and sour cream on my chips. It was so yummy and it kept me full all afternoon. 10/10 would recommend and return. Just a shame its out of Just Eat...

In store review: Gave it a few tries before giving a review. Twice taking out and once eating in. The food is good, albeit could use more meat or bigger chunks of meat in portions as sometimes feels a bit lacking. The crispy tacos are great. My main concern here can be the eat in experience can feel a bit awkward. Seating isn't great or inviting - feel the new brand/aesthetic of Taco Bell is a lot colder than the older one. My other issue can be timing. While I love my orders being made fresh and is a huge plus, it can be slow to the point I have to give it a miss if I'm on a timer. I will definitely recommend everyone to at least grab a churro with caramel dip...
