Tesco Cafe — Restaurant in East Suffolk

For a superstore cafe, this one has nice decor and sofas in the 'lounge' area. Food and drinks are ordered at the counter then both are bought to the table. However, cutlery, sauces and napkins are self-service. My order was taken efficiently, with a smile, and the coffee served within minutes. The breakfast was served in just a little longer than it took to cook. All of the staff were pleasant and seen to be busy cleaning when not serving customers. The all day breakfast is perfectly cooked. Having read other reviews saying the food was cold, it is not the food that is cold it is the plate. Please start serving hot food on hot/warm plates. It is a VERY basic mistake, which is easily rectified. I will come back and edit my review and give you five stars if/when you change the plate temperature. Please do not quote health and safety as an excuse, I do not expect the plate to be firey hot just hot enough to keep the food warm and not burn the fingers of...

Terrible performance today thought I would have breakfast with my other half and a friend and couldn't of felt more unwelcome the woman behind the counter had next to no customer service at all and the big breakfast we ordered was appalling the food tasted as if it had been left in the hot plate for hours and to top it off it wasn't very warm the only good thing is the woman who brought us our food had a smile on her face and was very polite, other than that a very poor experience I...
