Very Unique, quessentially Quirky. Being atmospherically Rather Rustic on the best side of le Natural . Overall, Fantastic food flavors considering woodyards' uses of infused woodsmoke & in-house wood fired pizza oven , which added greater value to the hunger struck teens+ parents. NB Food allergies taken into account & pre-orders & doggie bags are available upon request. Always ask first, including take-away was an added bonus, thus, enabling plenty of advance planning for group functions or gatherings. Plan Ahead for reassurances & although on the affluent side of being a bit pricey. Such good value for quality food within a luxurious budget, considering today's cost of living crisis. Be Kind to oneself Treat the Family once in a while, not to miss opportunities ✨️. We had a wonderful gathering with our Beautiful People from our lovely DRC. We personally found the WoodYard to be very family orientated accompanied by superb staff with good service & overall efficiency. 😀 very polite & help guys n girls being very inclusive. Thank you Guys, Girls & Others for a wonderful welcoming experience 💖 ❤️ a place we would highly recommend 👌 to others. SO beautiful humans of surrounding areas to Woodbridge- Do pop in sometime for pizza, alfresco & cocktails or just a drink, like plain simple water & ice or you could just try their uniquely & individually prepared cooked in-house freshly baked threads, breads, pizzas & fine simple food Pleasures.....x 😋 😀 😄 😊 X Vegan options...

Clearly a very popular place! We arrived just after 6pm on a Saturday, expecting to be seated immediately, but it was packed and there were already people waiting in front of us! We were told to expect a 25 minute wait. Unfortunately, it was rather longer than that, and for the majority of that time we were crammed into a corner without a seat. More unfortunately, somehow someone managed to misread the list of waiting people, and another couple who arrived a while after us were seated before us when we'd already been waiting well over half an hour! I was told it was a miscommunication and they offered us a complementary drink whilst we waited for the next free table, which thankfully didn't take too long.

Anyway, the food was good (very authentic pizza) and the atmosphere was pleasant. Service could've been better, seating error notwithstanding: our bottle of sparkling water was room temperature and we'd only been given little glasses with a bit of ice, so had to ask for more ice later!

If we had been able to book a table, the experience would have been much better, but you can only book for a large group. No idea why. I'd even be willing to pay a deposit to guarantee a particular time. As it is, that will probably prevent me from returning, as I prefer a more relaxing dining experience than we...

We travelled last night from Hadleigh to try the Woodyard out. There was quite a queue when we arrived but expected it as it was a Friday and they don’t take bookings. We were put on a list offered to wait at the bar area for a drink. Everyone was friendly and attentive. Drinks were really nice. It has a real buzz about it, I loved how busy it was. The menu choices were good our starters arrived quickly and were nice a lovely salad and burrata with pesto. I think our mains were possibly forgotten as we did wait quite a while, but like I said it was a Friday and they were slammed, when they realised we’d been waiting a while someone came over and apologised and we weren’t waiting much longer after that. It didn’t disappoint the pizzas were really good and authentic lots of toppings and flavour! My daughter even ate the crust which is unheard of. We boxed up what we didn’t eat to take home. My daughter finished hers off with a H&J’s ice cream which you can never go wrong with. We will definitely be back and will recommend it’s a great place doing it right in a really...

We absolutely love the Woodyard, it’s our favourite local family restaurant. We especially like the fact that they have a high quality pizza focussed menu. There is a limited menu of sides but they are really good. It has a great selection of deserts, including an amazing ice cream bar. It’s also a great place for a drink in the summer with a wonderful view of the boats and tide mill, The staff are really attentive and friendly. The service is also quick; we had our drinks within a few minutes and food within 10-15 mins of ordering. My only notes of caution are: - The restaurant is deservedly popular but not the biggest, so you may have to wait for a table at peak times. - The menu is limited mostly to pizza, so if you don’t like this as a meal, it probably isn’t the restaurant for you.

We have chosen the Woodyard to make a little bday celebration. Pizzas were lovely but the waitress was not able to put a candle on the dessert even though I got a phone confirmation that they could do it before coming to the place. Disappointed and still confused. Next time we will bring own candles to be on the safe side. Update: The management handled and resolved our complaint professionally. Thanks for that. We have already been back 2 more times to enjoy fantastic pizzas with incredible views on a sunny day! I am sure we will be visiting this place many more times as their food and atmosphere is addictive!

I was working over at the Tidemill and forgot my packed lunch 🙄 fortunately I had the Woodyard to provide me with my morning coffee and an irresistible, delicious brownie which came with a little pot of strawberry ice cream. Then a lovely member of staff popped over with a baked sausage roll for my lunch, just to keep any stray hunger pangs at bay. After a rainy afternoon I popped in on my way home and made it a hat trick with a take out Nduja pizza. Great staff, amazing food, needless to say, tomorrow will be a brócoli smoothie day.
