Wouldn't serve me, cos i only had cash So i asked for a cup of water to take my meds with and to briefly sit down.
Female member of staff gave me less than half cup of water and said i could sit down but only out in rain, until a paying customer needs it.
Sitting in the rain, a women came out to me, and, me, ready to give seat up, was pleased to to hear this lovely voice say something like,
"I hope I'm not being rude but i just saw what happened, would you please let me buy you a coffee."
Taken off guard with this ladies kindness i cant remember what i said but it wasen't long til i had a warm coffee in my hand reflecting on this lovely persons selflessness in helping a stranger in a pandemic keep warm.
The 5 stars i gave here, is for the places customers type and specificly the nice lady who helped me out much more than it is for the places staff and drinks etc.
Thank you nice person i hope you...
Read moreI am not partial to the coffee - I enjoy a full flavour of an independent one like RedBrick. But Nero's baristas are SO welcoming and always ready to help with the App which gives good reduced offers on food also.
The atmosphere is SO relaxed and cosy - especially on the past cold and rainy days.
The baristas are quick to clear the tables and keep it spotless, with no 'airs and graces' - just naturally pally. Great! I love it!

Normally they get hold of the hot jug of milk and just fill you up.
If my coffee is full of froth, I respectfully confront the barista and request a fresh cup filled with coffee and ' no froth.' please!
If the barista is approached in a friendly way they are always...
Read moreI have visited a couple of times recently and had two different experiences. I enjoyed a normal hot chocolate that was made to a hotter temperature than most places, (without having to ask!) and whilst in there got excited to see advertised a Bailey's iced latte. I tried this today and was really disappointed. It honestly tasted like a plain iced latte, so whether or not she forgot to put anything extra in it, just don't waste the money on it! I was already too far away to turn back and ask or complain. The staff were polite, but nothing above ans beyond whilst service was a little slow. They need someone making the drinks and someone serving, maybe they do at busier times I can't say. I would go back for hot chocolate if I'm in the area, but won't go out of my way. The choice of food looked nice, although being vegetarian, it's the usual cheese and...
