The Temple Club — Restaurant in Eastbourne

Totally disagree with the previous review, when we arrived at the temple bar we were greeted by a host wearing a mask & all made to sign in with track & trace, menus where online & we were asked to wear masks to our table. The staff also all wearing masks. We were all seated at different tables with plenty of space. The manager personally gave us free shots & champagne for a friends birthday, which we were not expecting. The bar is also super speedy & professional with replies when I messaged! I'm still in shock, on the Wednesday before the 4 day bank holiday to honour are Lizzie, I went to Temple with some work colleagues. I bought a bottle of JD from the coop for a colleagues leaving do, it turned out he left it in the temple by accident. I sent a message with a longshot to the FB page asking if it was there, and they said it was! 2 weeks later, I got it back , I would of been sooner but I was busy.... I'm northern, it would of been long gone if this happened in the home land, the staff would of told me it wasn't there as they're giving out free JD to entice People in! Honest staff are a rarity!...

I was there with a girl who was afraid of her boyfriend. She was having fun... for a while. He arrived and pressured her to leave. I tried to intervene & begged the bouncers & staff to not let her go, that she wasnt safe, but it did no good.

Guess there's just too must abuse there for one girl's life to matter. Another sad case of instiutionalised misogny. Avoid!
