Well let me start with I went to KFC Eastleigh by accident; I should have gone to the KFC in Hedge End because it's on my way home and it's usually a better store.
I was served by a typical greasy spotty teenager who just happened to wipe his nose with the back of his hand before asking me for my order. Nice touch but at least it wasn't the semi-retarded Scottish girl who sometimes works there. I noticed that he was just order-taking and other people were assembling the orders so I went ahead and ordered. If I’d thought that he would have been handling my food, I would have walked out there and then. I don’t like dirty people touching my food. Keep your germs and your bodily secretions to yourself thanks. I'm not THAT hungry.
I ordered 4 pieces of chicken, a small fries and a small Pepsi, to eat in. I didn't want a further bottle of Pepsi for 99p.
I was waiting for what felt like almost 10 minutes but when I got my order, the chicken was fresh and the chips were hot. The Pepsi was nice and cold but sadly some of the meat near the chicken bone was a bit pink which always worries me. However, if I was going to get ill because of "pink bits", I think it would have happened by now. More than 24 hours later I'm still vomit and diarrhea free and all in all I'm generally alive and kicking. Awesome. AND I got some free BBQ sauce sachets which is always a welcome bonus.
The store itself was grimy as usual (to be fair). The tables and floor were dirty and smeary, the tray my food was eventually served on was dirty too and you can see layers of dust, grime and litter inside their light fittings and all around the dining area in general. The whole dining area needs a deep and very thorough clean. On a positive note, at least the bins weren't SO full, I couldn't squeeze in my inedible chicken carcass remnants.
The music they were playing in the store was beyond awful. It was like almost as bad as lift music and I'm pretty sure the songs were all about love which makes me feel sick. Not a good atmosphere to be in when you're trying to eat. I tried my best to ignore it but it was very difficult.
There were also 2 families with noisy children in the dining area with me which also further spoiled the dining experience for me.
I should have just taken the chicken...
Read moreToday I ordered (order 55YXL)some meals from this KFC, instead of 10 chicken wings , only 8 were send..i called them straight away however they never pick up ..that is why i have put this order number here so if any of them see this message can look into it..(not sure if they really care though) and this concern is not just about missing two chicken wings its about poor customer service and repeatedly doing same mistake again and again. This is not the first time for me .. its the third time .. they really put me off .. so when this happened last time i went back myself and highlighted this issue to the working staff as I am sure its not just me who have been going through this .. we pay for the food and they dont given give us the complete order and thats so wrong .. i dont know why they are saving one or two from our order .. i never get that.. since last time .. it was a while i didnt order from them as it did really put me off .. they are repeating same mistakes again and again .. and not taking it seriously for good customer service .. and i know even writing this wont change anything for them .. they will keep doing this .. now this been the third time for me that they have given incomplete food .. i will never order from this KFC restaurant . And I would also like to tell that uber delivery was on time and package was sealed so its not the delivery issue .. its the staff themselves from KFC doing this.. sending incomplete food Really disappointed.. repeatedly doing...
Read moreDispleasure with KFC Eastleigh's Restroom Policy and Managerial Abby Attitude
My recent visit to KFC in Eastleigh was marred by a truly unpleasant encounter with the manager, Manager Abby. The issue arose when I attempted to use the restroom and was abruptly informed that it's mandatory to make a purchase before gaining access. This policy, if indeed legitimate, struck me as arbitrary and inconvenient.
What added to the frustration was Manager Abby's dismissive attitude. Not only did she insist on the restroom purchase policy, but any attempt to seek clarification was met with silence. This lack of transparency left me bewildered and dissatisfied with the overall experience.
Furthermore, Manager Abby's apparent lack of knowledge and customer service skills raises concerns about the managerial competence at this KFC location. A manager's role extends beyond enforcing policies; it involves fostering a positive and accommodating atmosphere for patrons.
In light of this experience, I find it difficult to recommend KFC Eastleigh. The disregard for customer queries and the seemingly arbitrary policies implemented by Management Abby contribute to an unwelcoming atmosphere. A reevaluation of both policy and management practices may be warranted for the betterment of customer...
