Appleton Tea Room — Restaurant in England

I popped in to Appleton Tea Room recently to check its suitability for a small family get together later this year. I enjoyed a smashing pot of tea in a bone china cup. The tea was full of flavour made even more tasty by the use of loose leaf tea in a little teapot and a cup rather than a tea bag in a mug! I took two slices of cake with me as I was stopping at a friend’s on my way home. The Hevva cake and the coconut and raspberry slice were shared by us after lunch and we both agreed how delicious they both were. Can’t wait to go back for a “cream tea” or tea and cake with my family. Hilary, the owner, was very friendly and welcoming. We all need an”Appleton Tea Room” near to us....

Lovely little find purely by chance. Quaint, taken back in time feel to the place, I loved it! Loads of different teas to choose from but we just went simple, I had coffee and my husband had breakfast tea with a bacon roll. Service was great and we were made to feel very welcome. Popped in looking for a cream tea and couldn't have asked for a nicer place. Very reasonable prices, friendly owner who didn't mind us taking the dogs in with us.
