Avalon — Restaurant in England

For an outfit serving Allpress Coffee using LaMarzocco machines this place was pretty shocking.

I ordered a flat white, the barrister took out a portafilter with a withered coffee puck (clearly been there for a long time) still festering in it, knocked it out, didn’t rinse the portafilter or the machine. Knocked in another dose of coffee, bunged it in the puqpress, back in the machine and…. Yep, almost undrinkable.

Left wondering why bother?…. But of course, the endless stream of mugs like me who hope with great ingredients clearly on display, someone in this airport wants to do something differently.

This outfit may have the best kit, but with lazy can’t be bothered service, it all comes to nothing.

Amazing Coffee and Service at Avalon Coffee, London Luton Airport!

I travelled from London Luton Airport yesterday evening with my friends and had a lovely experience at Avalon Coffee. I ordered a coffee and a loaded cheese jaffle – both were absolutely delicious! The jaffle was warm, crispy, and full of flavour – perfect comfort food before a flight.

A big shoutout to Bhavani, a member of the staff who served us. She was so kind, friendly, and provided excellent service, which made the experience even better. If you're at Luton Airport, I definitely recommend stopping by Avalon Coffee for a great coffee and a tasty bite. Highly...

I stopped by Avalon Coffee at Luton Airport yesterday evening and had a great experience. The coffee was really nice – smooth, rich, and just what I needed before my flight. I also tried the Cobb salad, which was fresh, well-balanced, and satisfying – a pleasant surprise for airport food!

What really stood out, though, was the service. Bhavani was incredibly friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. She was polite, quick to help, and had a warm, welcoming attitude that made a big difference. It’s always great to be treated with genuine kindness...
