Let me just say — this Italian restaurant is absolutely incredible. From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for something special. Everything is handmade, from the dough to the sauces, and you can truly taste the care and authenticity in every bite. I had the pizza, and wow — it was honestly one of the best pizzas I've ever had. The crust was beautifully thin and crispy, just like in Italy, and the toppings were top class — fresh, full of flavor, and perfectly balanced. And the best part? The price was surprisingly affordable, especially for a restaurant of this quality.

My mum had the carbonara, and it was just as amazing. The pasta was cooked to perfection — rich, creamy, and full of that authentic Italian flavor. Even better, the waiter actually asked how much cheese she wanted and added it right in front of us — such a nice personal touch!

And speaking of the staff — they are honestly the friendliest team I’ve ever come across at a restaurant. Every time we asked for something, they were right there, happy to help. You could tell they genuinely cared about us, not just as customers but as people. At one point, the waiter even asked if we were celebrating anything — and when we said it was my birthday, the whole restaurant sang Happy Birthday to me! It was such a warm, joyful moment and made the night even more special.

To top it all off, they have this amazing rewards system. The first time you visit, you get 10% off, and by your third visit, you get a free meal. Honestly, it’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back again and again — not just for the food, but for the whole experience.

This restaurant isn't just good — it's exceptional. If you love authentic Italian food, amazing service, and great value, this is the...

Visited this restaurant as we have eaten in other Bella Italia restaurants previously and were expecting the same high quality, we were met by a beautifully smiling gentleman named Sean, he immediately checked if we have any allergies (which we do and so this was very reassuring). We ordered and everything was going well, however, we then noticed a situation at the kitchen hatch and it appeared that the kitchen weren’t sure what they were meant to be providing to the waiting staff members. Two of our main courses then arrived and the waitress apologised and explained that one of them had been on the pass for too long under the lights and therefore was being remade, which meant two of our group started to eat their meals so they didn’t go cold. We had also ordered fries which didn’t come until we reminded the waitress. The waitress was ever so apologetic and did then bring the third meal and the fries (when reminded a second time). Sean, who was front of house, was stepping in behind in the kitchen to assure that all other orders were produced efficiently and correctly. Two of the meals were good, one pizza was rock hard and was very difficult to cut through and so we are assuming that the pizza had also been left for too long unattended. Overall Sean handled the situation very well and everything seemed to flow smoothly afterwards. The drinks and the fries were removed from the bill to compensate for all of the food not arriving at the same time. Not a great experience over all and not sure we’d rush back to Bella Italia but Sean saved the situation and handled it...

We had booked lunch here yesterday, as we arrived we noticed the restaurant was completely empty, nobody but the chef and waiter was inside, which we thought was a bit strange and expected it to be busy for lunch time rush, we sat down ordered our meals, I ordered a starter as a main with a side of fries and my sis in law ordered a pizza but we requested this be brought out at the same time, waiter assured us this would not be an issue. 10 mins later only the starter arrived, and we was told there would be another 15 minute wait for the rest of the food as they had an order just come through for a collection that they needed to do, which again we thought was strange they couldn’t prepare 2 orders at the same time. So we asked if they could keep the starter warm as we would like to eat together again waiter said no problem. As this was sent back to the kitchen the chef was very unhappy about this and started shouting asking us if we wanted the food or not. This made us quite uncomfortable and we told the waiter if they’re is a problem we will have the starter now as the chef didn’t seem happy, he said he’s a chef he’s allowed to shout. We waited for our food which was around 15 minutes, and when it arrived it looked good, tasted average, they forgot to bring the fries but after the chefs outburst earlier we didn’t want to fuss. Rubbish atmosphere, rubbish attitude from chef, average food with long waits as we were the only people there. Would not go back again....

We booked a table for Mother’s Day, 5 adults, two children under 6, it was busy but not overly. The waitress who showed us to our table was polite and friendly. Looking through the menu, prices were on the steep side, I opted for the Calzone the rest of the group a variety of dishes. My Calzone should have been spicy meat, there was far too much tomato in it for my liking, not spicy in the slightest. The rest of the group reported that their meals were okay, nice but nothing outstanding. We had to call a waiter back as we were not offered any Parmesan, it took a few minutes to grab his attention He came back with a block of cheese and a grater, I noticed he was clutching it with bare hands which was off putting. In all, the food was okay but overpriced and a few refined touches were missing. I personally wouldn’t go back, not terrible but far from being a 5 star

All these years and never been to Bella-Italia, anywhere. And I must say I would definitely go back. The service was very good and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing. For starters we had the Nach-iolis (Large), which at first the thought of deep fried pasta seemed a bit bizarre but actually tasted incredible and I highly recommend trying. Then the Chicken Milanese with sweet potato fries which I couldn't fault. Then on to dessert. We shared a Chocolate S'mores Pizza. I'm not a big fan of hazelnut chocolate but it wasn't too bad. Then we over indulged on a second dessert of chocolate brownie and the cookie dough both warm and very moist. (My daughter dared me to put the word 'moist' into the review) I think once is enough 😂.

Absolutely shocking quality of food vs price. Tasted cheap, looked cheap but cost a bomb. I swear this was microwaved had a tiny amount of toppings shoved on and then grilled to make it look fresh. Chicken was like the deli stuff you get in Asda, certainly not pulled. Spicy sausage was three tiny splodges, melted cheese was bland and rubbery. Everything welded to the tub which resembled a sick pan you get from hospitals. Chips tasted like the oil hadn't been changed in 18 months and were unseasoned, cold and mushy when they arrived. Will never buy from here again. £40 for two macs, two chips and two cans. Rip off.
