My recent visit to Starbucks was nothing short of disappointing. From the moment I stepped into the establishment, it became evident that the management and hygiene were severely lacking.
Firstly, I was appalled by the extreme unprofessionalism displayed by the manager, Reily. Their lack of interest in addressing customer needs was evident, as they seemed disinterested and indifferent during my attempt to communicate my concerns. It's disheartening to encounter such a dismissive attitude in a place that should prioritize customer satisfaction.
Moreover, the long wait I experienced was frustrating. The inefficiency of the staff and the seemingly chaotic organization contributed to the unnecessarily prolonged waiting time. I understand that busy periods can be challenging, but it appeared that the management was ill-equipped to handle the situation effectively.
The poor hygiene standards further added to the negative impression. The establishment looked unkempt, with unclean tables and floors, which raised concerns about the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the premises. To my dismay, I noticed dead flies trapped in the window, which only served to reinforce my disappointment with the lack of attention to detail and cleanliness.
Starbucks has always been synonymous with quality and exceptional service, but my recent encounter at this particular location was far from it. I hope that management takes these criticisms constructively and endeavors to improve their operations for the benefit of all customers.
I regret that my experience fell far below my expectations, and I'm left with a lingering feeling of dissatisfaction. I hope that others will be spared from such a disheartening encounter...
Read moreFancied a coffee this morning on the way back from the school run. Arrived at 8.50am and there was a few cars in the drive through, so I joined the queue of maybe around 5 vehicles.
When I went to order, they were out of iced frappe and cold brew, so I switched to a latte, annoying, but not the end of the world.
It took an absolute age to go through the drive through process, as they seemed extremely slow with service. The car in front of me was at the service window for 5 minutes, waiting for 1 coffee. In total, I was in the queue for around 25 minutes!!
When I finally got to the window, I handed over a £5 note, to be told that they are not able to take cash! I explained that I had left my wallet at home, so only had this cash on me, but the lady said there was nothing she could do, so after 25 minutes sitting in a queue, after ordering a drink that wasn’t my first or second choice, I ended up having to drive away without a drink & I presume they would have had to waste my drink, throwing it away!
Looking at other reviews, it’s clear I’m not the only person who has experienced this slow, poor level of service. Luckily, there are lots of other coffee shops in the area, so next time, I will avoid this Starbucks and head to another, and I would recommend others to...
Read moreLove Starbucks and so want to love this outlet but sadly not. Be prepared for a good 20minute wait in the mornings on drive thru so dont plan any meetings or other as they will make you late with the slowness. I was given gift e-cards by my work and I have attempted to use these multiple times - £25 X 2 - so a good £50 to spend - go to use it and get asked to pay 67p extra for a coffee? ask for balance both cards reading as £6.07 but not queried or taken as incorrect despite stating clearly its £25 on both. Every time presented I have to go through a whole "its £25 and a gift card and not its not £6 left or out of balance" and so on after several scans it finally says all ok. Last time I presented got asked to pay extra and then was given a mocha despite asking for a totally different drink! Every single time its been an effort and long waits for frustration. As such have stopped using them as its too much effort. Avoid if dont have alot of time or using a gift card. Disappointing and will let my organistion as part of the reward team know of 250 staff to avoid getting any more gift cards...
