Biggles Lounge — Restaurant in England

After hearing such good things about Biggles Lounge and especially after the publicity of their Chef winning an award. I was looking forward to my delivery. Sadly, the food was extremely disappointing ! The chicken in the curry was overcooked and incredibly dry. The rice arrived in huge clumps, not light and fluffy as expected. Visited area last week. Monday came in. Food superb and lovely staff. Came back for a meal the next day but later. They were only then doing takeaway. I explained that I was staying in a hotel so could only eat in. I explained I had been visiting a very ill friend. They then said I could have a table. Again a superb meal. Thank you for being so accommodating by serving me in the restaurant after a sad day as my friend is so ill. See you next...

Can't complain about the food. The place was busy enough for a Sunday evening. Although, booking in advance maybe recommended. The place however would have been better if it was bigger and spacious. This causes the noisy customers who was there was laughing as if they were in a comedy show...and quite annoying to be honest which would have made a difference had the place been bigger.
