Absolutely stunning place. Five mins walk from town and such a lovely place to stay for a quiet week away. Highly recommend. Just a hop from Ludlow where its definitely worth a visit. Ate at a few places in Bridgnorth which were very nice and loads of little shops etc to keep u busy. Tea rooms below which serve a great bfast. We managed to park every night just around the corner.. i think it was 5.00 for the day 8 till 6pm. All decked out really nicely. Little kitchen if needed, good size twin room, dining/ lounge and main bedroom. Bathroom is large, bath and the shower is nice and powerful.

A really lovely tea room in low town, with a peaceful terrace overlooking the river Severn. Inside is lovely too with some original features of the old house still visible, which has been only recently renovated. Menu is extremely reasonably priced with a good selection of sandwiches, salads and specials which are delicious. Great coffee too. Because the food is freshly cooked expect a short wait to be served. Well worth a walk down Cartway to get away from the busy high street and far better than chains such as Costa.

We stumbled on this tea room today and we were So Lucky we did !! We sat outside in the sun and had the most delicious cottage Loaf with Mushrooms in a Stilton sauce, all made to order!! The staff were friendly and efficient, the food was Devine and the in door tea room is just Lovely and full of character!! They also have appartments which we were able to see, which are also furnished to a very high standard and just Beautiful ! It's a real Gem of Low town - DEFINITELY worth a visit !! 😀

Firstly I can't leave a review for the rooms as we didn't stay the night but going by the level of service, the comfort of the tea rooms, the cleanliness of the wash room and the quality of the food, I would expect the rooms to be of an excellent standard too!

We were treated via a gift voucher to an afternoon tea for two. What a lovely treat it was. On arrival, we were asked if we would like to sit inside or outside. The garden was beautiful with views of the river severn and hills beyond. Due to the midday sun, we chose to sit inside.

We were asked what we would like to drink. I had a pot of tea, and my wife had coffee.

Shortly after, a full stand arrived comprising of sandwiches, toasties, quiches, sausage rolls, prawn cocktails, and patê. It was delicious. we ate everything except a couple of sandwiches which we couldn't manage due to reminding ourselves of dessert.

We were offered another drink, and again, tea and coffee arrived, followed by another stand with a jaw-dropping masterclass of cakes, brownies, and scones jam and clotted cream wow!! The scone was exceptional and the best I've ever had! We didn't (couldn't) finish it all, so we had all that we had left boxed up for supper.

Wonderful experience one to repeat and highly recommend.

Thanks to all at...

Nice coffee, unfortunately the whole visit was spoilt by the incredibly rude member of staff brown hair shoulder length in her 60s commenting negatively on two toddlers enjoying themselves in an almost empty café. "Edit To Reply" = Customers come in all different sizes and ages.. 6 people paying for there food and drink which came with two toddlers being themselves enjoying a day out. The two customers that were there on the other side of the café came over and happily interacted with the toddlers in a positive manner. I struggle to believe your statement regarding the displeasure from other customers. It's not that I believe your comment was rude, you were blatantly rude. Pulling a face and not saying excuse me or a polite introduction you simply said one sentence and walked away. From a business and personal perspective you are in the wrong. A simple straight apology would suffice not a round about indirect approach. We shall agree...

Called in for lunch with friends, very friendly staff, nicely cooked food, lovely surroundings, and value for money. My only observations would be,to have a notice to advise people where food is ordered,at the counter or at the table, diners seemed a bit confused. Also if any items are not available on the menu it would be better for customers to be told at point of order, rather than putting in an order and then being told the item is not available.

This however did not put me off,and I will definitely be back again and I will tell my friends, but someone else might be a bit more upset about sitting waiting not knowing whether or not they are being served or they should go to the counter and also finding their choice is not available,it is far better to tell them before they look...
