Bolero lounge is absolutely amazing. The inside of the restaurant is "old" style but it has a lot of natural light inside. They had candles lit up on the tables tonight and it was really pretty. There are also seats outside if you wanted to sit out in the sun, summer time. The people who work there are awesome and very kind and helpful. The food was great. 8-9/10 The drinks were good too. But the Orange juice that i got was SUPER disappointing. It costed 6 pounds almost and tasted really bland. Their halloumi fries were also super expensive. 6 pounds for 3 pieces. All in all, if you dont buy their orange juice, then you'd be walking out giving them a 5 star, im sure.

We chose to sit outside on a sunny Monday lunchtime having collected menus and been talked through how to order at the bar or following a QR code on each table to a website. We chose to order drinks and food through the website so we could stay sitting out in the sunshine. The ordering process was easy and offered all the options for customising the menu items, adding extras etc. very easy. Our drinks came very quickly and a few minutes later our food was delivered to the table fresh and hot. We both enjoyed our choices of bacon and cheese burger & beetroot and feta flatbread. All in all a very positive experience 🙂

I have never had a bad meal in the Bolero Lounge, the food is great, the atmosphere is relaxed and the staff are superb. They have a huge gluten free menu, their menu has something for everyone and they do daily deals throughout the week. I would highly recommend tapas Tuesdays where you get to pick 3 dishes and a glass of wine for only !12! Definitely worth a visit!

I was tasked with planning mine and my colleagues’ belated Christmas do and meal out and had heard mixed reviews for Bolero Lounge.

What won me over at first with Bolero Lounge was that their menu looked really good. It offered a wide choice of delicious sounding dishes that would appeal to my large party size of 29. Secondly, the quirky and artistic decor as well as the relaxed ambience inside Bolero Lounge were bonuses too.

Assistant Manager, Stacie, was really helpful and accommodating from the very beginning of the booking process and I can’t thank her (and the rest of the staff) enough for being so patient with dealing with myself and my colleague’s delayed preorder menu requests. They pulled it off spectacularly with less than 2 day’s notice in terms of what 24 out of 29 people in my group wanted to preorder.

With such short notice as well as some unexpected additional order requests; the customer service and quality of food was not at all compromised! As well as serving my party of 29 people, the other half of Bolero Lounge was nearly full of other guests too. Upon reflection, it is amazing to think how well Bolero Lounge performed on such a busy Sunday evening. I’m utterly grateful to Bolero Lounge for providing myself and my colleagues with extremely delicious food and being so friendly and hospitable.

My colleagues had nothing but nice things to say about Bolero Lounge and for many of them, they hadn’t been here before so it really left them with a brilliant first impression and would without a doubt, visit Bolero Lounge again!

Thank you to the team (Dylan, Lilly, Luke, Mike and the chefs) working on the night of the meal, you all did such an amazing job with hosting our meal. And special thanks to Luke for being so friendly and putting me at ease so I could step away from being the ‘party planner’ and just enjoy my evening like the rest of...

When this place opened it quickly became my favourite place to go. Love the decor and music they play. Lovely ambience, making it a fab place to meet up. The food was mostly yummy with a great selection for vegans and veggies and nice cocktails. However... The past 3 visits have seen this place go downhill. The staff are very friendly but the food has been quite below par. Garlic bread that had no taste and was just greasy soggy bread ( when asked at the end how our meal was I pointed out that the garlic bread had no garlic in it and wasn't nice and the staff member just shrugged shoulders). Portions seem to have got smaller, food in general just not as nice as it used to be. Another visit during an afternoon it wasn't very busy in there but ALL the empty tables had piled up dirty crockery on them which we had to move if we wanted to sit at a table. Then when seated table was so sticky and had to ask twice if someone could wipe our table. Server was very pleasant but took a long time to come serve and then walk past all dirty tables not taking any used crockery or cups/glasses away with him. Another visit I just met some friends for cocktails ordered a bakewell one(normally delicious) but it had the oddest flavour, weird burnt after taste so informed the barman and he eventually mixed me another drink a raspberry mohito which was so bland with way too much soda in it so was pretty tasteless and felt like I was drinking a soft drink. Its such a shame this place has gone a bit downhill as customers will stop returning and it would be such a shame to see it closed down. Please go back to being as good as you were...

One of my favourite restaurants to go to as my local. Food is lovely, nice atmosphere and very sophisticated. Not often waiting too long for food either! EDIT: Came back here after 6 months, this time being dairy intolerant. Told waitress (new staff) my dietary requirements so she said the manager would take my order. She asked whether it was an intolerance or allergy I said intolerance so she referred me to use the QR code menu. (Not sure why it was necessary to ask that, if you can't have it, you cant have it..) Food came out with BUTTER etc. I made the waiter clear of my intolerance and he brought the manager over who talked me through what I could have. The waitress hadn't made anyone aware of my dietary needs, she didn't even apologise to me, the waiter and manager did for her.. I couldn't find anything on the menu suitable for dairy intolerance, vegan is all spicy. By this point my boyfriend had his meal and the manager told me I couldn't have burgers or anything and so I had a GF vegan burger which wasn't something I was overly happy about having (why can't they just put a beef burger in a GF dairy free bun I don't know?) So after 30 minutes the food finally arrived, boyfriend was beginning to get hungry even after he'd finished his and I was starving. Though I didn't pay for the new meal (very grateful for) I had still paid for the meal I hadn't recieved. As someone who is dairy intolerant I don't think I'll be returning for food anytime soon. Would love to see a...
