Extremely Disappointing Experience!!! I recently visited Yate KFC and had one of the worst dining experiences ever. It was an hour before closing time when my friend and I decided to order the "Dinner for two" deal at the till, only to be informed by a staff member that they had run out of fillet. This was already disappointing, but we decided to order the Zinger burger meal instead using the KFC app on the phone.
As we patiently waited, the same staff member who had informed us about the lack of fillet proceeded to announce to every customer in the store that there was no fillet available. This lack of communication within the team was quite unprofessional and left us feeling uneasy about the competence of the staff.
After waiting for a frustratingly long 30 minutes, our order number was finally called. However, to our disbelief, we were then informed that there were no burgers available either. The staff insisted that they had called our order number earlier, but we were present the entire time and can attest that we did not hear anyone call our number. Other customers who were present can also support this claim.
At this point, we were offered a replacement of the burger with chicken, which was not what we had originally ordered or desired. Frustrated and disappointed with the continuous lack of stock and miscommunication, we requested a refund. It was astonishing to witness the staff member go back to the kitchen, consult with their manager, and then inform us that if we were willing to wait for another 5-10 minutes, suddenly fillets and burgers would become available. This inconsistency and disregard for customers' time and satisfaction were truly disgraceful.
The whole experience left me questioning the professionalism and organization of the Yate KFC branch. It's unacceptable that they had the stock available when we initially placed our order, yet chose not to prepare it. The lack of communication, unfulfilled promises, and disrespect for customers' time has made me lose faith in this establishment.
I strongly advise potential customers to reconsider visiting Yate KFC unless they are willing to endure frustration and disappointment. There are plenty of other dining options available that value their customers and can provide a much...

Wrap Of The Day wasn't on the ordering screens, but advertised on ad screen in window, so I went to the till to ask. I was told it wasn't available, so I asked if they had ran out of chicken or something? To be told no initially they said there was no wraps, this changed to no slaw. So then I asked for a mini fillet, which comes which lettuce.. Why couldn't they say we have no slaw for the wrap, but we have lettuce? I think they are trying to avoid selling these wraps as they are a lot cheaper than main menu, and who wants a watered down drink and soggy fries?

Read moreTakes over 40mins to sort out a 1 item order when there are only 3 customers with very basic orders, the tables are covered in rubbish, was in the carpark beforehand and no one had walked out of the restaurant so employees could visibly see the state of the place and not bother to clean it up. Kids working there probably illegal although that may contribute to their poor customer service.
I would also say there is absolutely ZERO management in place, when some bloke was told half his order wasn't available only after already having paid and waiting for 30mins+ he asked for a refund and the staff stared at him as if he said it for a laugh?! He was not happy neither is anyone that orders here. They have no professionalism, all employees clearly don't want to be working there, wont be going there again, poor management, staff have no social skills or respect, go to cribbs causeway instead.
Fire all the staff, close down for as long as it takes to build a good workforce and then reopen, waste of time. Avoid unless you want to catch IBS...
