STAY AWAY- (First ever time I’ve felt the need to write a review) Went in expecting a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, unfortunately couldn’t have been more wrong. The Bald man on the bar was awfully rude and made me aware of a new pub law which was that if I didn’t purchase a drink in the first 30 minutes of stepping foot into the run down and unhygienic establishment then I would be yelled at and kicked out with immediate effect. I also strongly recommend you do not come here to watch any meaningful sporting event as you will have to severely squint you eyes to see what’s happening as they provide the sport on a old dusted up TV which runs at 360p so better off listening to any sporting event on the radio. My local and has always been a nice pub that always historically went above and beyond on service.

Though popped in last Thursday for birthday drinks with a group of 7 and the two non drinking members asked for tea/hot drinks. We were told there was no hot drinks machine. Also told there wasn't even a kettle for a simple tea/coffee.

Disappointing but not deterred we left and popped down to the windhover and did about 5rounds there as they were able to cater for all drinks both alcoholic and otherwise.

Normally favour smaller more homely pubs and sometimes drinks machines breaking can't be helped but think I've just switched pub allegiances as it just didn't seem like they...
