Bull & Bar — Restaurant in England

We visited here a couple of months ago but never got around to leaving a review until now.

I am absolutely shocked as to how this place has a 4.9 rating.

First impression, walking in and 2 workers there but say nothing to us. So we walk over and ask if we can sit and eat.

We order our food, burgers for everyone, and when it arrived I was disappointed. It was served on a metal tray with old remnants of food and they reminded me of something you might find in a prison canteen.

The patty was dry and tasteless and too small for the amount of bread that you get and the pickles and bits on the burger were too much. The roll was hard too. There were a handful of chips.

This is an expensive burger and what you get does not justify what you pay.

There are a lot nicer places in the area that do better burgers than this for a similar price or cheaper.

The whole time we were there, it felt like we were an inconvenience, the 2 workers were so miserable.

We like to eat out every so often and we will never go back here again.

​We were a group of four (booked online that day) and managed to get four burgers and drinks for just under £100, which felt like pretty good value for the quality of the food.

​The Pulled Pork Burger was excellent. They really elevated it by adding a big, crunchy strip of crackling right on top, which was just a fantastic touch. ​The Brisket Burger was everything you want from a smokehouse: super smokey, delightfully messy, and delicious. You needed a napkin, but it was worth every bite!

​For something a little lighter, the Dynamite Chicken Burger was a winner. Really moist, fresh, and tasty.

​The beer was great and the food was excellent, but the service was even better. Friendly and attentive, the staff made the whole experience...

My boyfriend and I ordered Bull & Bar for a takeaway treat last night and we were delighted with the quality and delivery on taste. Definitely up there with the best burgers either of us have had. We both ordered the Simply Cheese and Bacon option with either skin on or sweet potato fries and it was all delivered on time and with excellent, sustainable, practically designed boxes, for zero washing up!

The burger was juicy and packed full of delicious flavours and fresh ingredients, but somehow manageable to eat with your hands. I had the sweet potato fries and they were perfection!

Looking forward to visiting the restaurant next and basically working our way through the menu! Terrific to have such a brilliant option for takeaway delivery around here finally! Thank you too the Bull...
