Burger King — Restaurant in England

Took my kids through the drive-thru, was the first car there so thought we'd be in and out in 5 mins. Ordered, paid, and then had to wait over 15 mins for the food. By this time there was a queue of cars behind me, a man shouting and tooting at me, so when my food was eventually passed to me I drove off without asking for any sauces. Pulled up in the carpark to run in for some sauces, and the young lad that handed me the bag of food made sure to keep his back to me the whole time, wouldn't look at me and made it very obvious he didn't want to acknowledge me. When the woman on the till had finished serving the customer in front of me, she walked over to the young man and stood with her back to me also. I waited, and waited and then heard the boy mutter "she waited over 10 mins for her burger" so I said that I didn't care and only wanted sauce. Ignored again, their backs to me. I then said excuse me after waiting a few mins longer, they ignored me again so I walked out. I looked through the glass doors as I left and the old woman was back in her spot at the till serving the man behind me. There was only those 2 in the front of the restaurant and they were both very rude. I ordered 2 kids nuggets meals - both fine, and an adult meal. The burger tasted burnt and the drink somehow tasted weird. I would completely understand the wait time and the burnt burger if they were busy but it was almost dead. Awful lady ‘running the show’. Jane served us after I shouted to her with my colleague several times to acknowledge us and 7 others stood waiting in the queue patiently for over 20 minutes while under bags wee packed, broken ones were discussed, while rubbish was all over the tables we wanted to sit at, while drive through was being served only to be huffed at and told they were busy and not enough staff. Has this woman ever worked in a kitchen before? I think not. She only had to acknowledge us and communicate once but didn’t. She spent more time highlighting and breaking her own than serving clients. We walked out and went to subway which was busier and we were served and received food in 8 minutes and they had 3 members of staff. I am disgusted as I used to use this BK all the time. It needs raising to the ground and starting again. Jane could also do with a tidy up and being front of house would be good not to be wearing a filthy jumper. If you get dirty have a couple with you so you can change every now and then. Even Starbucks across the road copes with more with the same staff. Now I only get a short 30 minute lunch break and today am working 14 hours and 66% of my break was used up waiting for Jane to acknowledge anyone at all in front of her and I had to shout to get her to do that. Maybe another vocation is required here....

Went here with my mate for lunch, should've stuck to a ham sandwich. 11 pound for the whole meal which was stupidly overpriced. Ordered a large meal and still only got a small paper bag of chips which were really bland but still the best part of the experience, which says alot. The burger was dry and flavourless and i opened it to find weird coloured lumps all over the meat which really put me off. Also the bacon was soggy and undercooked. No more than 5 drinks avaliable, all being filled from the machine (which only decides to work when it wants to.) The fanta tasted nothing like the original, instead like weak orange squash. Worst meal ive had for a long while. There was only us and two others eating there around 1pm so obviously not popular, and yet, only 2 avaliable tables as the rest were uncleaned, covered in rubbish, with sauce and spilled drinks smeared on the seats. Staff were also miserable, unhelpful, and putting in minimal effort. Also took quite long considering how quiet it was and how rushed the food was. Overall a 0/10 would not recommend. Defenitely not coming here again, nevermind paying 20 odd quid for two people. Half the price in McDonald's, way better food, friendlier staff, cleaner resturant, more options of meal. Never coming again,better off saving the money and...
