Flaming Peaches — Restaurant in England

Confession : We are regular visitors to Flaming Peaches! Ideally at least once a week. We have been a fan of Matt’s cooking long before a 1959 Citroen van came into his life. His food is inventive, made with love, care and attention with the finest ingredients. Though we, as a family, have our favourites, we always order the new weekly creation as we can rely on Matt to produce a mouthwatering master piece.

With the new lockdown, on my return from a “click & collect”, I passed a couple of well known fast food outlets and it genuinely upset me: not so much because of the poor quality food that these people were about to consume (and will be hungry later) but for not supporting local businesses!! It is imperative that we support local biz. More so now than ever before.

So...if you fancy a burger, pizza whatever, that is nutritious and downright flavoursome! Then pick Flaming Peaches - far more than finger-licking good. Saves travelling to Paul Keating to buy your ingredients (support local biz not supermarkets) and making a right hash of your...

I keep meaning to write a review of Flaming Peaches. It's so good I think everyone needs to know. I'm not even a massive takeaway lover but during lockdown we've had takeaway from here more than any other place by double so that should say something.

It is always delicious (I'm looking at you Nashville Double Chicken) and it always arrives hot... which I think is nothing short of witchcraft and is more than any other takeaway we use can manage. Even the fries are still crispy.

I've also tried their vegetarian pizza and that is also fantastic. Well thought out, tasty, great texture, lovely dough.... lovely.

Really looking forward to a time when I can visit them in their place, but for now, keep up the awesome take away game.

In the middle of nowhere in some forlorn corner of a dismal trading estate.....there is an incredible gourmet burger destination! Who knew?! Was the service good? Well when we got there it was closed for a private function....but spotting our disappointed faces loitering outside the owner snuck us in anyway before their event started- he saved the day! Our food was cooked fresh right before our eyes and ready within 15 minutes. Was the food good? It was insane! The Elvis burger....what the actual.....i have no words. Please go try it. Good people, good...
