Sat outside this brilliant cafe. I thought the food was good quality and well priced. I had the halloumi salad for £7.50 which was perfect and came with nice houmous and a sprinkle of walnuts. I saw others enjoying some very intriguing looking milkshake creations. My partner had a mushroom omelette which was also excellent and it came with fries as standard. We liked these extra touches. We sat outside in the sun. It’s a very busy part of Blatchington Road so while it’s not scenic it is interesting.

Had a good lunch here with my partner. I ordered a cheese and mushroom omelette with chips! It was yummy and reasonably priced. It came in a reasonable time after ordering. You can sit outside in the sun 🌞 and watch the world go by. A woman next to us ordered a milkshake which she said was nice and said "they do reallly good milkshakes". Nice cafe for lunch or breakfast on Blatchington Road and you won't have to spend a fortunate like other places.

The baristas' skillful latte art turns each cup into a masterpiece. The coffee itself is exceptional, boasting rich flavors and a velvety smoothness. What truly sets this café apart is the friendly and attentive staff, making you feel right at home. From the moment you step inside café Ninety 7, you're greeted by the enchanting aroma of freshly brewed coffee.

We have been there many times with and without our dog. My mother has Alzheimer’s and feels comfortable there and likes the food. Today we were told we could not sit where we wanted with the dog. We were told we could only sit in the back. I tried to talk to the manager who would not let me speak and was very rude interrupting me all the time. He said ‘whatever you ask me the answer will be the same’! I did not want to ask him anything but just tell him something. I told him that we had always sat in the front booth with the dog and no one had minded. He was very arrogant and dismissive. I will never go there again. I will not be spoken to like that by anyone. Absolutely disgusted and sad for my mum.

In reply to the owner!!! I did not threaten I promised I would write a bad review and I did. The manager was arrogant and rude to us. My mother has indeed been there and has enjoyed the place because she felt safe and comfortable there. I usually didn’t eat because I do not like the food there. Neither does my sister particularly. It is too oily for me and bad quality. There is also not much on the menu that I can eat. We have been there many times with the dog and have never been asked to sit in the back. Fact. Ask your staff and they will confirm this if they are honest. There was no one waiting to be served as the owner said there was. Therefore we did not hold up anyone who was waiting. Fact. I was not rude to him however he was very dismissive and disrespectful to us when I was trying to talk to him. He kept on interrupting me when I was trying to speak. What happened to the place that used to be so welcoming? It certainly is not like it used to be and I will never use it again. If you like good service and good food there are many other places to go to. I will be doing...

So good, came here on Saturday after trying all other cafs in the area over a few weeks in search for a descent full English that isn't breaking the bank.

Not only is this the only place we've been to that doesn't take the piss out of you with their prices ( a full English at £16 should be a criminal offence, here it's only £9.50); this was also the most delicious one we have tried in hove.

Don't go to the rip off places on Church Road or George Street, go here. Great atmosphere, amazing food and lovely staff! The Acai smoothie...
