Lemon meringue cheesecake was lovely that’s why we gave it as much as 3 stars, I asked for a small salted caramel latte but was given a small cappuccino and very sweet? I felt the man that served us was a bit pushy and annoyed as my son decided he didn’t want a hot drink in the end, I felt rushed and not great service he literally put it on the tray and served the next customer with no communication, we found the place was very dirty looking and unhygienic I would say that it could do with a deep clean the toilet in particular looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time the toilet bin was dirtier than my outside bin, the stair banister was covered in dust and a build up of dirt around the corners of the floor and sticky tables, we used the toilet and sat at a downstairs table and stayed less...

He likes his tea strong, so he asked the guy to put two tea bags in the pot wich he did. On paying my husband questiond the price as it was rather high and the guy serving explained it was for one latte and two tea's! Apparently if you would like an extra tea bag then you will be charged not for the bag but a whole pot of tea. Ruined our lunch with the bullshy guy, and massively over priced drinks. I'm more than happy to pay for an extra tea bag but do not like to be ripped off especially when you go in to Costa down the road and they have no issue to put another tea bag in the pot for you for no extra...
Read moreI am a huge Caffè Nero fan and been to lots of them around the country (as seen on my profile) and this is the worst I’ve been to and we walked out before having our drinks.
The staff were dealing with a technical IT issue but unlike most businesses that focus on the customer experience they appeared to think customers turning up were a nuisance and there was zero effort to work round the issue. Realise technical issues sometimes can’t be avoided so no problem with this fact but the staff’s attitude was take it or leave it and when questioned was unprofessional and borderline rude. A bit like a training video on customer service and how not to deal with problems.
