Memsaab Indian — Restaurant in England

I was initially looking to place an order online and added items to my cart, with a total of £21.18 including delivery. However, when I called the hotel to place the same order for collection, they quoted me £21.65, which was the highest price. So, I decided to order online instead, as it was still cheaper, even with delivery included.

After completing the online order, I called to cancel the collection order, explaining that I had found a cheaper option online. To my surprise, one of the staff members called me back and aggressively shouted at me for choosing the online option, accusing me of making a poor decision. I calmly explained that I was simply trying to save money, but the staff member continued to speak to me in a rude and unprofessional manner.

This experience was incredibly disappointing, and the staff member’s behavior was completely unacceptable. I expect better service and respect from a business, especially when I’m simply trying to make an informed decision based on price. I won’t be returning, and I strongly recommend improving customer...

So - went as a party of 15, so expected some issues.

If you are drunk, these issues would probably be an OK - and I think this is what they are used to dealing with, but as a few of us were sober, it was pretty bad!

Food was very slow coming and we had to ask several times after it.we arrived at 1945-2000, but eneded up eating at 2130/2220 for our main courses!

The people serving would also miss drinks when ordered and had to be reordered multiple times. Even then, it was hit and miss who received a drink.

Poor service - the men serving spilled drinks into people's food as they leaned across, or barged people out of the way to lean across to deliver food - and also gave food to someone at one end and told everyone to 'pass it down'. Not sure why this is acceptable?

When someone in the party was missing part of their meal, the waiters took this from someone else who was already eating it. Very strange! We were still charged for the missing food.

Coupled with a hair in my food, and it turned out to be very expensive- I won't be...

Went out for the evening with friends. It's the busiest I've seen. We didn't know it was a banquet night, as it would save us a bit of money. There were 10 of us for the meal, as it was me friend's belated birthday. The other people ordered a banquet but didn't tell us, or explained what it was? The staff asked us if we were normal or banquet? We said normal. He didn't tell us what the banquet was for? We looked at each other, and just said normal. Apart from not telling us and would have saved bit of money, atmosphere was noisy with other diners, especially most was all male. Nothing wrong with it, just men's talking a lot louder! It's nice not to have music on when chatting and eating. Hubby had king prawn biryani, but his prawns weren't king, very small. He's had bigger prawns from other Indian restaurant. Said it was bland.
