Okay, so the food I would say is 5* always fresh and presented amazingly, if it weren't for that I would never go to this place. My friend and I have a bit of a running joke about what funny thing the staff will do this time, every time we go it seems to be a new bunch of teenagers running front of house with zero hospitality skills. Most recent visit yesterday, half way through ordering at the till the young girl literally just turns round mid my sentance walks off and starts talking to a colleague, both laughing as she can't remember which table she should take the drink too. After about 30 awkward seconds she returned and without saying anything just looked at me blankly to carry on my order šŸ˜‚ 3 wrong orders were bought to our table, different staff bought over drinks and food saying did you order this. We did feel sorry for them in the end, as humerous as it was. Last thing was a young lad cleaning down a table with what I can only describe as a morsel of blue roll, about 2" squared, painfully spraying small areas and picking up one crumb at a time before giving up and leaving it dirty. It was funny but painful. Surely cleaning a table is a basic task in a cafe. Anyway this has been the case for a long time so guess they're aware of this. Food is a 5 star, service isn't even a 1 star.

This should be your first stop when you go to Isle Of Wight the coffee is excellent! I do not have a pic of the outside but it’s a very cosy cafe with two floors. And their coffee merchandise is too cool! They sell coffee machines, their own coffee beans and much more! They also cater for soya and oat milk which was the biggest bonus. The coffee was so so delicious I am going back there before I finish off from my trip here. The staff was so friendly and took time to explain how the coffee makers work and which one is the best for beginners etc. They have won a lot of awards and have displayed them in the shop too! I’ll write another review after I’ve tried their cakes too!!!

Service was super quick n friendly. Didn't have to wait long for my take away. The ambience is gorgeous- loved it!! I had a wrap for breakfast- it was very fresh n juicy with all the veggies. Really enjoyed it. I wanted to try the porridge but they said 'porridge pot is broken'. Hellooo you're a restaurant, don't you have a back up! I went there again for lunch as it was convenient but wasn't impressed with food this time. The pasta was good but kinda bland n raw, felt undercooked. I'm not sure if that's how that type of pasta is supposed to be. But definitely not gonna try it again. Not for my taste, sorry.

I always been here but this time was different. I brought my family for a nice lunch . The tables were all dirty, same ours; we had to the barista and ask to clean. The youngest one came and she sprayed in a small aerea the chemical and then clean that aerea. Very bad attitude. The food was good a part of the pizza, the dough was uncooked and no Parmesan shavings on top . I asked for another one after 5 minutes that I received the first 2 and they said the kitchen was close ( 5.20pm) not sure if they close the kitchen 40 minutes before the closing . At 10 minutes to 6pm when we were leaving, I had to ask the desserts ordered . They girls were confused that I asked my desserts like I was lying so I had to proved it . I assume that when the owners are not around, the staff seems doesn’t care about the shop and customers.

Was the worst day...

Three cheese grilled wrap was delish! Nicely presented, piping hot and quickly delivered to table. Update: I have recently decided to go decaf for my coffee and from supermarket it was undrinkable. I popped into Isola and asked the barista about their decaf and he was amazing! The shop wasn’t too busy (2.45) so he told me all about it, asked me how I brew, what I liked in a full caffeine coffee and gave me a sample to taste explaining there were no chocolate notes but if the cherry note was too sour to my taste, leave it to brew a while longer. He then ground the beans for my French press and thanked me for buying local. I could not have asked for more help or been happier with the service I received. I wish I knew his name. A young man who knows coffee! Ā£8.50 for 250g and my coffee this morning was all I hoped for. I’m...
