Visited Cartmel for this shop, and it was well worth it! There is an array of goods available such as chocolates, wines, jams, biscuits and of course, puddings. Compared to what is typically available at supermarkets such as Booths, there are a lot more pudding flavors available, including ones that I’ve never seen before! I ended leaving with 3 large puddings and 3 small puddings. The classic sticky toffee pudding is always a winner, but I also greatly enjoyed the sticky banana pudding and sticky chocolate pudding. I love sticky toffee pudding and have eaten a lot of it in my life. I can honestly say without a shadow of a doubt that in my opinion Cartmel sticky toffee pudding is the best in the world. It is beautifully moist and sticky but not cloying, just the right hint of firmness on the outside without being dry, wonderful texture and a divine flavour with a hint of toasted caramel.
