Cast Iron Grill — Restaurant in England

Delicious food...but.

£32 steak, all good, but £5 for the fries to go with it and £5 for a side making it £42

Fine perhaps for business expenses accounts, but we weren't the only leisure guests pulling a face at the pricing structure.

Breakfast was in general very good...but...

Fab cereals and cold choices, fab selection of breads preserves etc. Hot food on the buffet, mostly hot, despite being under heat lamps half way through breakfast service, bacon cold. Grilled tomatoes cold. Black pudding cold. Plates in the plate warmer...cold. at 8.45am. Breakfast served from 8am - 11am. Too much prepped too far in advance. Suggest smaller batch production early morning to mitigate this issue.

Mysterious jar of maple syrup, but nothing else...at 9.30am...homemade waffles ( actually very good) appeared but no evidence of the waffles until well over half way through service ?

Amazing food !! Out this world !! Best service, best food & best atmosphere, above all staff made my daughters 10th birthday a day she will always remember, no requests, all done by staff, even know they were really busy having a fully booked hotel, that did not effect there level of welcoming service provided, before our meal we already loved the atmosphere in this hotel, All staff do the company proud & offer a unbeatable service !!! Wish I could name 1 staff member but every staff member from floor, pool, reception, bar, restaurant & passing in & out doors has been amazing, all deserve credit We...

The food was amazing but when the lad asked do you have any allergies I said yes "tomato and fish" his reply was Okz todays special is tomato soup then brought the food out and it had tomato on it, but apart from that it was good, think some training needs to be done as if it was someone else with a allergy who relied on a epipen could of been a lot worse...
