Food: The fried food had a strong taste of oil, which makes me think the oil might be old. Both the fried chicken and shrimp were affected by this. The chicken pieces were also too big, making them lack flavor, and it would probably be better if they used chicken breast instead of thighs. Considering the £7 price point, the food was edible but could have been better.
Payment Options: It would be great if they introduced a proper POS system instead of only accepting cash or bank transfers. A card reader would make things much more convenient for customers.
Atmosphere & Ambience:
The space is quite small, and the smell of frying lingers heavily. It would help if they added aromatic diffusers or scented candles with fresh scents to counterbalance it.
The restaurant could also benefit from some background music—perhaps cultural Asian music—to enhance the dining experience.
The menu has too many options, making it overwhelming to order. A smaller, more specialized menu would likely improve the food quality and help them focus on their strengths.
The décor is quite plain, with a lot of white. While the grey and beige tables and chairs are nice, adding some turquoise or wood elements could create a warmer feel. It would also be great if the design reflected more of an Asian theme—something that immerses customers in the culture, like cherry blossoms or elements inspired by Japan or China.
Exterior & Cleanliness:
The front of the restaurant is covered in food posters, which is helpful for showcasing the menu but also obstructs the view inside. A digital screen that rotates menu images could be a better alternative, or they could invest in a more thematic storefront that reflects their cultural identity.
The floor looked oily and could use better cleaning.
The Highlight: The bubble teas were amazing!
Overall, the place has potential, and with a few improvements—especially fresher ingredients, a more focused menu, better décor, and a modern POS system—it could attract more customers and offer a much better experience.

Order process was easy, food arrived quickly, hot and well packed. My noodle soup had the broth in a separate cup, meaning it all stayed fresh and the broth itself was incredibly delicious. The meat however was such a let down. I chose chicken and pork (not pork belly) I got 3 very small pieces of each, the pork was pork belly and even by pork belly standards was fatty and as in soup not crispy, nor was it nicely flavoured. The chicken was similar. The udon noodles in it however we're the best I've ever eaten. So, so good. The Korean beef pleased my Japanese friend. Our vegetarian friend had seriously limited options, the only veggie meals have no protein, and rather than swap out meat for tofu she had to order a vegetable curry (at about the same price as a meat one) and pay £3 extra for fried tofu. She did say that it was very tasty though. But confused that there isn't a tofu option alongside beef/pork etc. The biggest disappointment was the teriyaki chicken rice bowl. Again, very, very small amount of protein, no veg and very little sauce, but 80% of the tub was plain rice. I'm order to.dinsih her meal, she had to use sauces from the pantry. So that meal felt really overpriced for what was received.
