Taunton Brewhouse — Attraction in Great Britain

It’s great having the Brewhouse in our town, and I’ve enjoyed seeing lots of shows there this year. The only suggestion I’d make is to add some tables and chairs outside when the weather is good. You’ve got a lovely space by the river, and it feels like such a missed opportunity—not only would it make the café/bar more inviting, but it would also give people somewhere to sit when it gets too hot inside.

On one particularly hot evening, we asked why there wasn’t any outdoor seating. The staff member/volunteer seemed a bit surprised by the question 😆 but did kindly bring out one table and two chairs for us. Of course, that meant others stood around with drinks and nibbles in hand, eyeing our seats a little enviously 😆. It would be fantastic if more outdoor seating could be made available—it could really enhance the experience...

I come to the Brewhouse so often, its like a second home to me! I've attended workshops here and seen a huge variety of shows over the years, even long before I moved to Taunton. I find it absolutely delightful and as a concert and theatre-goer all my life, easily my favourite theatre outside of London, due to it's intimacy and friendly feel. The acoustics are fabulous for music shows, the seating is comfortable and fully tiered so as everyone gets a good view (very important to me) and the acts they get there are top quality. They come in selling ice cream at half time, inc my favourite honeycomb(!) or you can pop out to the bar for a pint. I hope this place...

October 40th 2023 Oye santana brilliant band Evening spoilt by people dancing in front of us and spoiling the view also dancing on the stairs which blocked our way in the event of fire Member of staff told me to stop taking photos despite dozens of people taking videos and pictures all around me After the gig I asked the woman why she asked me to stop filming and she admitted there were too many others she couldn't tell them all jobs worth maybe as I was near the back First time I visited this theatre and probably the last I travelled 260 miles for this If this is the usual way of their events no wonder it wasn't sold out Just to reiterate oye ...
