UPDATED: have given up on the app all together (Dec 23) It's a very nice location though, and I always like the inside decor at coffee #1 - lovely inspiring quotes mixed with fun cartoon style art. Unfortunately quite dark and noisy even when not full. Not as many options as usual, and disappointed that the chai latte has added sugar. UPDATED: lots of festive options but the coffee was really nasty yesterday - just so inconsistent! (Dec 23)

I went for a walk around Clevedon and decided to stop for coffee. I found a branch of Coffee #1 which was open, so popped in. The place was similar to other branches of Coffee #1 with lots of wooden furniture and Tintin artwork on the walls. Wasn’t too busy and I ordered a skinny flat white. Once the drink was made I took a seat. This was a delicious coffee, really nice flavour and well made. I enjoyed sitting at my table looking out the window with the sun shining in.

Tasted like a cross between a lardie bread and a doughnut. Quiet sickly as well.

I like going to this coffee shop as the staff are very friendly, but the toilets are a inadequate, a missing loo roll holder (only screws left in the wall exposed), no paper towels(only a hand dryer), cleaning products left out (against health and safety regulations). It is a baby changing area and I wouldn't want to change my baby in there (the baby changing area was unsanitary) I don't blame the staff as it's always busy (even more so with covid19 hanging over our heads), I think these big coffee shop companies need to provide nicer facilities for staff and patrons alike, baring in mind bigger companies like McDonalds can provide better facilities and they're considered busy and...

Met a friend for coffee and a catch up. This is a great place, great staff, very friendly and they do an brilliant toasted tea cake the size of a saucer 😍😍. Highly recommend.

Returned again today (08/10/2025)

Advertised on the board outside was a cinnamon tart with cream, it looked so inviting we both ordered the same and spoke with the staff about how the advertising had made us make the purchase.

We were asked if we wanted the cinnamon tart warmed, which we did but we were disappointed that it didn't arrive with any cream 😞.

The cinnamon tart itself was lovely...
