Costa Coffee Hoole — Restaurant in England

Wanted a treat after passing my driving test so went to this Costa where 3 members of staff were chatting by the entrance as I entered. Asked them if they were open and they told me they are just about to close so that they can have their break. They refused to serve me. I think if you have 3 members of staff they should rotate their breaks - or state that you are closed for lunch as a minimum. I think this is not acceptable it would have taken them 2 minutes to do my coffee. The coffee as fab. However I had a ‘little Seizure’ in the Hoole restaurant s couple of weeks ago and I’ve only just been able to make this review. I just can’t say how grateful I was for the lady/ manager she was outstanding, cordoning of the area with baby highchairs, putting her own jacket under my head. I don’t remember any of this. What I do remember is her talking to me in a very calm manner asking me questions to keep me alert but most of all just being so very kind.I think her name was Sarah or something similar but I would like her to be acknowledged. Walked in the coffee shop ordered our food with the lady my son was paying whilst waiting for order I was seated the lady shouted something across to me across the room I said sorry I can't hear you as the music speaker was next to me . With that a man came at me rude and aggressive and said its not been paid I said sorry my son was paying he's here . He shouted you still have to pay . I was so embarrassed brought a lot of attention to us . I said do I look like the sort of woman who would not pay ! I paid the bill found it hard to eat or enjoy food. ...
