Bromfield Arms — Restaurant in England

Had a really pleasant evening on Saturday night. The food was spot on nothing fancy just good pub grub with no fancy garnishing to distract you from the food. We had salt and pepper chicken with a side of katsu curry, which together was delicious and a bargain at just over £15 for 2 people. The staff were very friendly and the Guinness was just right. recently refurbed, decent guinness, not Ireland standard but ok. I was there recently to watch a Champions League game on TV. The sound quality was awful. Sufficient during game, but post match analysis as so bad that it was difficult to know If Rio Ferdinand had a mouthful of marbles or not. Problem was the sound was fed through speakers, separate from TV with too much BASE. My last visit had music and tv vying for overall supremacy with the result that no one could be satisfied. ...

The staff are very welcoming too all people, 1 member of the bar team went above and beyond to make me welcome as I’ve just moved to area so the 5 star is for nathan on this occasion. I have now been here multiple occasions now and what most people would call a regular over the last few weeks I have met all members of staff and not a single member of staff has faulted!
